Don't fall for this. Seriously, do not fall for it.

Two kinds of games Zimmer defense play:

1) All time, record breaking bad - this is most of the time.

2) A decent game that gets blown in the last 4 minutes because he insists on playing prevent - See the Santana Moss game, and he tried his best to repeat it the last two games.

Zimmer is a **** DC. Always has been. It's why no team he's coached or DC'd has ever played in a SB.

I don’t believe this team to be a playoff contender; wins against Cleveland, Washington and the Giants are not impressive; and I don’t believe Dallas would have beaten the Steelers if Wilson was at QB. Yes…injuries have played a part in the team’s decline; but like others, this team has not been the same since the playoff loss to GB.
I think Dallas needs to use these remaining games to evaluate talent and decide which players need to be retained and those that need to be cut. I think this will be difficult given the uncertainty of who will be coaching the team next season. Do you even think Jerry has given any thought to who might be a candidate for HC next year?
Jerry doesn’t strike me as a strategic thinker; I think this was evident in how he has handled Dak his entire career…Jerry had no contingency plan in-place in the event Dallas wanted to move on from Dak; therefore, Dallas is now stuck with this humongous contract that will hinder the team’s ability to add talent via FA and draft.
I think it goes without saying that this is a pivotal time for the Dallas franchise.

Id love them to squeak in at 8-9 because teams like the Falcons, Niners, Cards and Rams all end up 7-10 or 8-9 and lose the tie breaker and for Rush to then win a playoff game. I think that might be the only thing to light a fire under Dak.

If we bring in a better run game and a better defense a better offensive line kinda goes with the territory of being a quarterback that game was close despite his turnovers in that first game in 2022 I mean it was right there for the taking until that third interception but it was a close game the game got out of control it was so bad the last game but the defense the offense tried to stay in it but I think if we need that game and it all of a sudden the contest and we rolling in there with confidence going to be a little different this time I think.. I'm not saying we can beat them but we don't know where their heads are gonna be at what they're gonna need how hard they're gonna play lots of factors are coming into play..

I don't know what you mean why does Prescott's name gotta keep coming in to these things you haters need to calm down he doesn't need to be inspired he has no losing seasons as a starting quarterback he was rookie of the year won 13 games through the least amount of interceptions won eleven in a row and played very well against Green Bay the defense lost that game in the playoffs let's be real here I mean the defense in 2018 in the second round he's brought his team in there and they got ran over for the tune of almost 300 yards of the ground it was again mostly on the defense we've had bad coaching staff we've had offensive lines giving up 11 penalties in a game I mean the guy's been behind the chains and a lot of these games because of his teammates not himself it's not his fault can we get over this always bringing his name into these damn conversations where does it belong do we not have enough threads with his name in it?

But is he supposed to be impressed with that he said by my count Four Seasons of over twelve wins and been in the playoffs 5 out of eight years and has no losing seasons it's gonna break just about every Dallas cowboy record and has $60 million this lighting of fire comes from where I think he's competitive enough that he's upset he got hurt just like he got his ankle broke off in 2020 came back and had his best year 37 touchdowns 10 interceptions.. So let's calm down on him needing to have a fire lit I'm sure he's got plenty of it he's not coasting in the playoffs it looks like that because his team can't make plays when they need to we're losing in the trenches our coaching staff are getting their butts kicked it is that simple this is a team game and getting into the playoffs at 8-9 it isn't going to light a fire under a guy who's already has one of the best win percentages one of the best touchdown interception ratios and he knows in his heart he's not the biggest contributing factor to the losses that mostly the defense and the trenches...
