Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil said Thursday that he was hopeful that he could return to action as “an extra arsenal” against the Cowboys this Sunday, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen.
The Ravens listed Dumervil, who has missed the last four games because of the foot injury that led to offseason surgery, as doubtful to face the Cowboys this Sunday. Baltimore’s gotten used to life without Dumervil over that span, which makes their other doubtful defender a bigger deal.
Cornerback Jimmy Smith practiced for the first time this week on Friday after missing the first two days with a back injury, but he also drew a doubtful designation from the team for Sunday’s game..........
