If you don't like it then go find another team. I love Jerry. I love Jason. I love everything about the Cowboys even after this 8-8 season.

This is disgusting...I can understand somewhat loving Jerry but just barely could I see how someone could but Jason Garrett? Mr. Mediocrity? Is it because he backed up Troy during the SB years or because of constant 8-8 no play off seasons you love him? Or do you just love him as a person and love all people as persons? I don't get how you could love what he's done here since it's been absolutely nothing...he's WASTED the careers of multiple ALL PROS, a couple HOFers, a top 5 QB, etc, etc...hopefully you'll clarify what it is you love about Jason Garrett but simply loving him because he's our coach is utterly ridiculous.
People need to be held accountable, period and Jason Garret's done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING here to love him for.

If he owned the Eagles he would fear walking from his car to the building.

Instead Cowboys fans chant his name.
sad but true, the best way to get back at Jerry, would be if the media wouldn't show up to interview him.

Speak for yourself. If you're upset about any of this he's clowning you. It's a business. You guys probably screamed and pouted and sat on the floor of the toys r us when mommy wouldn't buy you the toy you wanted.

Why? Because..........

I want to hear why you would call someone who you don't even know, a POS. Our team isn't run the way you want it run? We didn't make the playoffs? He sucks as a GM? Or D, all of the above? Pretty strong words imho. It's all just a game. The whole darn circus from top to bottom is just a big fat show. If I were seeing a broadway play, I would say I am getting my monies worth with the exception of a SB appearance.
some are taking this way too personally as if it effects their everyday life somehow..

relax take breath , the changes are coming and Jerry has the right as a business owner to do it however he chooses..those also wishing and taking amusement and happiness for someone's being fired or let go of their job around the holidays is in need of help..

I want a new staff as much as anyone but Jerry is simply allowing Garett to finish his regularly scheduled exit interviews with players and coaches which gives his some closure as well as players.. most of the players and coaches interviewed yesterday about garett didnt feel the same way about him as some of you and none of you know him or jerry...jeez calm down

Id say Jerrys a pretty good boss for not embarrassingly just firing Garett and taking his keys, id away and escorting him out of the Star, he instead shows some compassion and lettings Garett get closure before he leaves..

He's making a clown of himself and unfortunately this storied franchise that was storied before he got here. I don't care how much money he's made them into.

Agreed 100%. How do we go 25 years without a div playoff win and still sell out the stadium?

Jones love the press this is getting. He loves seeing the fans suffer as he clowns through another season. One day all of Cowboy Nation is gonna wake up. Then Jones will have his due day.

If a change was to be made, it wouldn't have been difficult to announce it yesterday, I'm insulted as a fan of this circus, plain and simple. WE are the most valuable franchise in the world, and here we are with the Garrett sympathetic tour. Unbeliveable!!

I have often said, If you owned Exxon, wouldn't you hire the best CEO to run it? instead we get a coach to learn on the job for the last 10 years, and is still a moron.

This organization isn't solely focused on football or winning SB's, it's primary focus is revenue, and most of all having a senile owner who can't turn his back from a camera or radio microphone.

We and the media got clowned yesterday!!
2010- 6-10
2011 8-8
2012 8-8
2013 8-8
2014 12-4
2015 4-12
2016 13-3
2017 9-7
2018 10-6
2019 8-8

These are you Dallas Cowboys. Three playoff appearances this decade. Anyone who wants to give JG another chance. Here you go.. We are not America's team anymore. This is an organization of mediocrity. A ship without a rudder. There is no one who drives the culture, no accountability. Just look at the entire NFC since the last time the Cowboys made a championship game ( January 1996). I believe only two other decrepit franchises are in the same boat as us. The Lions & Commanders..
Coming back to this decade, you know the last the Patriots didn't have a first round bye in the playoffs was 2009... Think about that for a second...
Jerry has been given a pass for way too long even by the media, the fans, etc... This man has ruined the great Cowboy franchise. I know all you apologists will come out and say Jerry is a great owner. Look at what he has done for the value of the franchise, etc, etc, great market... I will give you that. But I ask what has he done to the product on the field.
This man fired JJ in 1994 ruining my college years.. ( yes I am selfish).
Jerry honestly does not care bout Super Bowls. He only wants to win one if he is given 100% credit for that team. Some people thought he would change as he is getting older but just look at the response he gave to Troy Aikman's comments. His Ego has ruined this franchise since 1994, 25 years of being average or below. Jerry is already a HOF'r, his franchise is worth 5 Billion dollars, he bought it for 150 million. He makes more money than any other owner. He DOES NOT care about winning. Judge him by what he does not by what he says. He cares about the hoopla, he cares about being in the conversation every week, First take, Undisputed, ESPN, etc, etc.
If he wanted another SB, he would have hired the best GM, coach, boardroom full of analytics folks. The man can spend as money as he wants to build the best organization but he doesn't . He runs the Cowboys like a mom and pop shop. I tell all my friends the same thing. Winning a SB is secondary to his ego. How does he have the audacity to call us America's team anymore

mental anguish as a form of entertainment? Salud
I don't suffer mental anguish over this stuff anymore. Seen too much in real life to let me worry about this. I use it as entertainment. I used to take it to seriously in my younger days. Not worth getting pissed off over things I can't control. It's my soap opera.

That kind of """""fan""""" is detrimental for the team. If you can call him a fan...

This. I used to be very intense about DC football. Now DC football is comical and it's almost everything that I am not. I'm old and giant screens, cushy seats and art don't impress me. I'm just in it for the game. I now just love the sport for the strife for consistency of greatness or perfection with NFL organizations, coaches and players like the Pats or now the Ravens. The dark horses like Tennessee are inspiring. I love a great defenses or an unstoppable offensive machines. I love/appreciate coaches (like Mike Tomlin) who lose top players and can still find a way to win. These are work horse teams that don't get caught up in the glitz of the NFL as it is today.

If Jerry didn't hire room with Jimmy in college, is Dallas looking at a near 32 year run of futility? Are we just one college roomate assignment from being the Browns?

This isn't a Broadway play. This is 32 teams fighting to beat the crap out of each other. Or else why have a draft and free agency and coaches at all? Just go through the motions win or lose. Jerry's making money and that's all that counts?! 2 division teams won Super Bowls during Garrett's tenure, one of those teams just beat them to get into the postseason. The other 2 aren't giving their coaches extended time to take a tour in the name of closure. lol A coach who had no business being hired in the first place then kept around for 13 years and paid 5 million per on top of it.. poor guy! This is more than a game. Jerry swears up and down how much he wants to win yet his actions say otherwise. But I'm sure he's a super nice guy outside of his GM duties. The team used to strive for much more.

Players and coaches are fired all the time, life goes on and Garrett will be fine. He can easily find a job as an assistant or analyst or whatever, yet we have to treat it like him and his family will be out on the street. LOL You see any other teams besides maybe the Bengals doing this? Teams want to win and the division is getting better while Jerry is still Jerry. I guess it's easy to enjoy the show if you don't mind sitting home every January! Competing in the postseason is the business he's in and that should be the goal every year! But that's not the case.
