Well, one of the newer writers who has really impressed me is Jennifer Floyd Engel but I'm not sure she'll ever get the credit she deserves because she's a woman covering a man's world. She has had some fantastic articles, especially the ones that reflect on what went wrong, what were the real events and opinions about something, etc...

JFE very well might be my favourite of all the Cowboys beat writers. But she works for the FWST not the DMN. She really knows how to weave an interesting and accurate story consistently. Obviously a very talented and conscientious journalist. I think she's really got Parcells respect as well.
