We've given out a monster contract every year in the last 7 years. Those deals just happened to be with/for our own homegrown players.

I'll never understand why making Tyron the most expensive LT in football and making Fred the most expensive center in football and making (soon) Martin the most expensive RG in football and paying Dez top 5 money and handsomely rewarding Romo etc doesn't count to some people when they consider player acquisition spending.

Well maybe because thats IN HOUSE spending. Perhaps everyone is talking about bringing in someone. A splash signing. Perhaps?
