Doesn't change the fact that in between some really nice throws and all this moxie, they even have a bad delivery make bad decisions couldn't read an NFL defense, it took Romo sitting and learning and he developed.
they're saying that New England fans are saying that about Milton that he's definitely different than he was in college and early on in camp no one's saying he's going to turn out to be great but everyone lifting their leg on this dude that could even be a number 2 he's saying this guy can't even be a backup like Joshua Dobbs tyrod Taylor and Jacoby brissett and guys like that that have developed into really good number twos..
and this guy saying there's no way? yes there is a way, some guys are slow to develop and Romo was one of them he needed the time to fix some of his warts..
I'm not saying this guy's going to develop into anything, but I'm saying he can also get rid of his warts it turned out to be a solid player whether that's a #2 or a viable starter somewhere in this quarterback starved league where players just keep moving around.
I mean look at Trey Lance getting another chance $6.5 million over there with Harbaugh of all people trusting that he might be able to fix this guy, than Milton has just as much of a chance.
We see it with skill players but guys like Geno Smith and Sam darnold have found a way to fix their careers they got better it took them some time but they got better this guy saying in his post because he saw what he did in college and there's no way that he can even turn into a number 2 is this absolutely ridiculous...
Miles Austin went from nothing and literally look like he was lost and didn't belong in the league to being a really good wide receiver, and had it not been for injuries he could've been a star in this league it took him time the light finally came on. I mean isn't this the kind of thing we're getting from tolbert people don't believe in him but he's steadily getting better and he didn't get to sit for two four off seasons and learn he got thrown right in it and I believe he's gonna turn a corner and get better I don't know what he's gonna turn into but everyone acting like this guy is not gonna be a good NFL wide receiver it's just like the original poster and some of you have no faith that players can develop..
The only thing that's important is the guy's got a decent football IQ, and it's coachable, and is willing to be better....
he's got a body and athleticism that's almost exactly like Cam Newton, so now we got to just figure out can they turn him into something that looks similar to Cam Newton.. he has the base athleticism the body and they say he's coachable and they say he's learning...
that's all I need to know, that doesn't mean anything, I know, but it also doesn't mean the way he played in college means he's never going to do anything in the NFL...
Wasn't this a knock on a guy like Josh Allen literally had terrible accuracy problems only played 27 games wasn't even that good in Wyoming but scouts seen something in him it was the raw athleticism the way he could run the football move and it's rocket arm nobody thought even as a rookie that he was gonna be able to get that stuff fixed and I know it's very few percent it may not be the lottery like they're talking about above but guys can be fixed I mean basically Trey Lance was the same way and he may end up being a failure but Josh Allen is one of the stories a very raw talent with a lot of upside that turned his game around and that was one of the best in the NFL...
So yes it can happen it'll be very rare and this may not be the guy but I'm willing to watch for myself....
