I think Jerry will dump a ton of cash on Whitt's driveway the next day and make him the new DC...more than he could get at Seattle.Quinn may take him along to his new team?

I’m more worried about losing McClay than Quinn. We might lose all of our defensive assistant coaches if Quinn leaves. For an organization that's supposed to be a laughingstock, people sure do covet our coaches and de facto GM. Maybe the Cowboys are doing something right.
True but he also may not want to leave considering the players he coached and he could receive an attractive offer from the Cowboys to take over the reins if they value him.Quinn may take him along to his new team?
If Jerry is smart, he'll give him the title of GM and whatever else he wants.I’m more worried about losing McClay than Quinn.
That’s what’s really important. A DC has to be the scheme guy. I love what Harris has done but not sure he a scheme guyI think Whitt is the scheme guy. Dan runs the front 7 and he has a guy he trusts to run the back end.
Al just coaches up the guys to be dawgs. See ball, get ball.
why?Al Harris would be my guy.
been saying it for a while. we are a true NT away from a 3-4 defense. not sure if Hankins can alone man the position. I don't think Mazi is capable. and we are light, in size and totals at LBMaybe if Quinn leaves, Mike would bring in someone to run a 3-4….(that’s what he had in GB)
Parsons would beast as the pass rushing OLB.
DLaw would be an ideal DE for the 3-4.
Odiggy could play some 3-4 DE.
Williams could play OLB.
Hankins and Smith at NT.
We would have to find inside backers, but those guys can be found.
Just a thought.
