More importantly Galloway fits what they try to do except he can also get down field.

The guy trains extremely hard and thats why he is still in the league.

Had Jerry not already failed with Galloway, I believe we would've been players for him this year.

I wouldn't count on Tom just firing out of the gate. He totally blew out his knee and then had complications throughout. I think it will take him a little bit of time to get back to 100%. But, a 75% Brady is pretty darn good!

Good move, especially for the money IMO. I don't mean to be harsh, but anyone that thinks this isn't a real solid pickup doesn't really know the game too well. Sure Moss and Welker will get most of the balls Brady puts in the air, BUT Galloway can still run good routes, has very good hands: probably will get roughly 3-5 catches per game and will have to be accounted for defensively, especially down the field as mentioned previously in this thread.

I thought that if they truly wanted to give Miles Austin a chance than Galloway was the perfect insurance policy to have.

Plus he could come in and return punts for us as well.

he's pretty much replacing Jabar Gaffney, but possessing more speed

I can see him catching 8-10 TDs passes this year if Brady is healthy

Its still doubtful that Brady ever plays in the NFL again.
Doubtful really? What gives you that idea?

IMO if it were even a 20% chance he couldn't play this season, there's no way they would have traded Cassel.

He won't be completely back to 100% until the 2010/11 season but he's still better than Cassell.

I don't think they would trade away Cassell if there was doubt Brady would never play a down in the NFL again.

Cassell's worth was at its highest this offseason. At least for the Pats. They did the smart thing. And Brady has a very good chance of not being right for at least half a year. I wouldn't rule out him being on the money though. Therapy and techniques just get better and better.
