are excellent young players who will be around for a long time. Mike Zimmer couldn't make Lawrence Taylor a good LB with his crappy schemes. Wade will make them better and Carp was a beast in the playoff game. Which, if I remember correctly was only like his 3rd or fourth start.

Disagree, but that is what makes this a forum. Different opinions. I think that at the end of the year if you didn't come away thinking that Carpenter was a starter in the NFL you didn't watch closely enough.

Not just an emotional leader, but a playmaker on the field. But we know Jerry doesn't like to overpay for linebackers, I wouldn't get your hopes up.
