I told you guys it was between miami and the bengals. 20million guranteed, no thanks!!!! We need to save that money for Demarcus Ware. I'm suprised Miami gave him that much, they're usually are very conservative when it comes to spending big money on outside free agents. He will bring them attitude no question about that.

I would have loved to have had him to, but at who's expense?

I would have booted Ellis off in a minute for him, but I am just heartless like that.

Unless this is purley a money decission I just don't understand this. Miami is a mess, and they are not going to win anytime soon. Heck, he was grumpy in Pittsburg where they won almost every year. I belieev that Miami is the 4th best team out of 4 in their own division.

I agree, but with Wade and his new, hopefully attacking philosophy, maybe we will haev some of our own guys bring some intensity. At least that is what I am telling myself.

Why not? We have spent our #1s (the years we had one)on Defensive players
for the last 15 years, except for the great talent, David LeFleur. Yeah, let's use this year's on a defensive player.

If you answered no pass rush or we need a FS then I think you're right.

And the best way to protect the secondary is to put pressure on the QB.

I don't believe that the personnel are what has been wrong with our pass rush. The horrible scheme and coaching is gone, I feel the rush will be much improved this year, thanks to the Phillips 3-4.

Our #1 needs to be on the offensive side of the ball, along with the #3, at least. I can see spending a #2 on a FS, but not the #1.

We need some offensive playmakers. We need 2 WRs soon, clock is ticking on both starters.

I don't think we can get an impact player at FS outside the number 22 pick. What I'm reading says the top five safeties are going quick.

I don't know about 5 safeties going that high. I guess it might happen, but I doubt it. Plus, I still think Watkins may work out.
