Parcells left a 9-7 team as he would say you are what you are and his team was 9-7.

Wade team was 13-3 he got 4 more wins out of those players.

well thanks everyone for your input and again sorry for reposting a hot topic from earlier.

I agree with alot of what everyone is saying I didn't feel he was actually interviewing for the job just felt it was way over the top. I haven't noticed him talk like that in any other games this year...then again I don't watch that closely unless it is the boyz. Either way unless Wade and Co can right this ship I think JJ will clean house. I just can't see JJ handing over the team to a guy that calls two fades at the one yard line while his team has dominated on the ground...then again JJ has given the keys to far less talent in the coaches chair...it will be fun to watch!! But lets hope for a SB this year!!

He also took a very poor Oakland team and went to the SB. Should have gone twice except for a Tom Brady Referee Special.

I think Gruden was covering a MNF game and will give similar comments to teams he is covering each week.

Exactly. That's usually what these guys do, act like every team they're covering is the bestest ever.

And do you think Jerry had the TV audio on in his suite? Doubt it.

Gruden's fawning probably just stood out more because Jaws was so miserable about us kicking butt.

Come on Jerry. Give Chucky the job. He is old school and tough like Parcells. He can coach here for 10 yrs and has the hunger to back it up unlike Holmgren and Shanahan.

I actually enjoyed it instead of CONSTANTLY hearing every announcer talk about how great the other team is. I get so tired of it.

Just go away and let us discuss all you negative Nancies. Dont have to put your little high-brow statements about reposts: just let the fans discuss, again, if neccessary and without snarky remarks.

I do hope Gruden is angling for the job. The thought of the other doughboy, Holmgren, being here makes me ill. Shanny, yes, or Cowher or Gruden.
