Jackson is number 2.

Does this change opinions on either player? Opinions?

Just based on that video, it seems he gives Ross space in most of the snaps and is keeping the play in from of him. He plays tight on about 4 plays, slips on the one and pats for it. Recovers nicely on an earlier play to break up deep pass. Needs to secure tackles better.

It confirmed my belief that Ross is off the board before 28 and Jackson is a second rounder.
I don't disagree with Ross gone by 28 and Jackson in the second... but do you think Jackson was that bad in that video?

Actually I like Jackson more now. He can play the deep ball pretty good. That slip and fall is concerning if it's a habit, but if not and it was only that one time then its all good. All in all held his own on what looked to be like an island.

he hasn't slipped like that in any other tape I watched. People just have to come to grips that he's a first rounder. Only way he slides to round 2 is if Kevin King/Conley fall to us which is unlikely, and even then he'll be taken very early in round 2

His coverage honestly didn't look bad at all considering what a playmaker Ross is. His tackling needs work though.

Most important thing I saw was how quickly he reacted and fired up into plays away from his man. He's aggressive going after the ball. I actually like him more now.

One thing you have to give Jackson is he definitely has the right mentality to play the position. He will get burnt and come right back to make a play.

It's been acknowledged that Jackson is still working on technique, etc...and continuing to learn the position. Ross obviously has insane speed, which could be difficult for many CB's to handle. If you miss on the press/jam, you're done without help. Play too far off, and he plays the cushion.
USC allowed 13 points in that game, with the only TD they gave up being the one where Jackson slipped. While Jackson gave up the TD, he also had 2 Int's & 1 pass b/u in the game.

The video doesn't change my view of the two players at all. Wouldn't mind either on the Boys. Both are exceptional athletes, who have some size/durability concerns (particularly Ross), heading to the next level.
