You draft these guys on potential upside. Not on 1 game.

You're not drafting the 20 year old version of Adoree JAckson. You're drafting him based on what he can become.

He's show that he is a great athlete and a pretty good football player and you're trying to get his skills to match his athleticism.

He's as good as Janoris Jenkins. If you are comfortable with having to wait a year or two before you get the best of him than you should be good with drafting him in round one.

To be fair, everyone at 28 sucks at bumping and jamming guys, and they all gave up big plays. Probably the most technically sound at 28 would be Awuzie, seriously.

From what I've watched on him I think his technique was underrated. He's a good CB that got used all over the place on ST and offense, and still was pretty damn good at CB.

Then don't take a CB at 28. But Jackson is one of the bigger projects we could take at 28.

I like Awuzie and King as much as Jackson.

The NFL trash heap is littered with great athletes.

He'd be a poor pick at 28 IMO. As someone said above, if I have to wait 1-2 seasons before I know he can develop good technique, etc. then he's not worth the pick IMO.

Too many people are falling in love with his athleticism.

I just disagree. All depends on who's there of course. If they aren't going to use him on returns then his value diminishes, because that dude is undoubtedly going to flip a game on a return this season.

To me, I'm looking for the guy that can just make plays. With our offense, a guy that can generate a good # of takeaways and flip games on returns gives him a ton of value.

Just my opinion.

Dallas usually likes the higher ceiling guys, @ 28 if it's a CB I'm leaning towards Awuzie, seriously.

It's easy sometimes to fall into the mindset of thinking the players they are today are who they will always be. No prospect is a finished product. You're drafting on production, performance and traits.

Awuzie is very intriguing. Saw him last night on Path To The Draft - he's a very intelligent guy who has very good football smarts. He'll be a very good player in the NFL.

The NFL is also littered with guys that weren't the best in college and are some of the best in the Pro's right now.

Adoree JAckson can play football. He can find a football when it's in the air and knock it down. He can turn and run. Everything his there for him to be a pretty good NFL player.

I see a lot of that on this forum.

I've probably been guilty of it myself in the past but if you see an elite athlete in college that is a pretty solid football player as well then i'll take that guy over an average athlete and that was really good in college.

It's case to case of course but I want the high upside.

Now if they weren't even a solid football player in college then there is really no point.

Adoree Jackson is at the very least a solid player.

Still on board.

Jackson has elite potential, and is already a good player
