I passed tape yesterday (28%) and now I'm starting to get my paperwork together (marriage licence, college transcripts, references, etc...). Next friday I'll probably be going for my physical so I'll probably be in reception in about 2-3 weeks.

Don't miss me too much ya buncha homos. :D

Nice. You will either be with a support battalion/company or get to work in a clinic/hospital.

Oh and I imagine the school is still at Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio. I honestly think that was my favorite place while I was in the Army.

Good luck and Best wishes PFC Rack.:starspin

Be sure. It's a Life thing these days when you sign that piece of paper. Not saying it's bad. I'd encourage anybody to joing the Military if it was right for them. Just be sure.

Good luck to you Rack. I wish you well and I hope it provides the kind of opportunity it's provide a great many, including me.

Be well Rack.

You're not in until you stand in that room with the flag. :D

I hope it is in SA. It's real close to home and I know a lot of people there.

It would be nice to get stationed there, but it's not likely.

ABQ, I am sure. Never been more sure about anything in my life. Not even close.

I'm signing up for 3 years initially, but I'm already considering making it a career.

I was in the Army Infantry myself (11B). I took alot of great things from it, but in hindsight I wish I had got training I could use on the outside, such as your MOS. I know a guy who did that in the military and now make close to $40 an hour. About the only thing I could use my training for is the police, personal security and/or guarding oil wells. yeeeaaaah!

Godspeed and thanks for your service.

BTW, I haven't seen any car keys in my mail yet????

You need someone with experience to take care of your baby.

Looks like it is still is running. Had to actually look as it was 20 years ago since I was there.

Loved that place and the river walk. Had so many great times there.

I just wish it was not so hard to stay away in classes.:laugh2:

Hey cajun, i'll send you the keys but they won't do you much good since the car is nothing but a shell right now.

I'll send you the car if you want to media blast it, primer it, and block sand it for me. :D

You know, I would love to do that. Problem is that you might have a hard time getting it back. And when you did, it would look like that poster I sent you a PM of.

Maybe not your color.

You had a Captain Kill Jar too?

As soon as that dude opened his mouth everyone went to sleep. :laugh2:

Very unlikely you'll be stationed there after your training is over.
