Jon Kitna as next head coach

You might be onto something there? If in fact Prescott's development is in any way shape or form because of Jon kitna that's amazing strides and the dude can teach also I think Prescott has some natural ability there's no doubt about that good leaders build on that and Lead players to their maximum potential

I think Bill Callahan would make a great HC in Dallas for many reasons. The offensive line would return to elite status, he's already familiar with the organization (The Jones), Moore would continue to grew and evolve as an OC and let Kris Richard run the entire defense without Marinelli (sp). Lastly Callahan has plenty of NFL EXPERIENCE!

He was HC after Gruden with the Raiders and was horrible. He was HC after Osborne at Nebraska and was horrible. He inherited two great situations and botched them both terribly.

He’s like Wade and Norv. Phenomenal assistant. Terrible head guy.

With Carolinas owner saying they’re not settling for mediocrity it’s becoming more likely Ron Rivera is available as DC after the year. Pair him with Kitna/Moore and you don’t sacrifice the offensive growth and he’d put some bite back in the defense.

Carolina always has had dominant front 7’s when they’ve been good. More importantly they value the DT and NT position
 
There will be several HC’s available after this season. Usually about 6-8. Gruden is one already waiting on a phone call.

Who do you think makes the best Puppet?
 
This time last year 95% of you had Richard as the next head coach.

What I think: There's almost no chance Kitna gets a HC gig anywhere within the next 3 years.

There are dozens and dozens of position coaches that have a major impact on the players they coach. Being a HC has almost nothing to do with focusing on one group (with some notable QB whisperer exceptions) and everything to do with a much, much broader picture of the team that includes roles Kitna has had no opportunity to be exposed to.

Anyone who has watched the Cowboys episodes of All or Nothing understands what Jones likes about Garrett and why he wants any reason to justify keeping him. Setting aside lack of success in the playoffs, even Garrett's record as a HC is decent. His win percentage ranks him 7th among current coaches with more than 100 games under their belts. That's not bad. It's not Bellichick, but it's not bad.

While I agree with all of that, I think not getting to the NFC Championship this year would be the final nail for Jerry since he himself said this is the most talent since the 90s.

Now that they have the franchise MVP caliber QB for the next 10 years there should be no shortage of people wanting the job.

But they still would have to deal with Jerry.

And we are assuming Jerry is willing to admit he needs a greater HC to win therefore conceding the credit he’s been pursuing.

That's what would make him a great fit in Dallas his past failures and familiarity with the Cowboys organization. Remember Bill Belichick was a failure in Cleveland.

Previous HC experience.
Defensive mindedness.
Organisational familiarity.
A SB ring.

A failure once ok. A failure twice: ehh not so much. Especially given how he didn’t take over restarts. He took over well oiled machines and drove them into the ground.

Bad idea.
Moore would not be able to expand, create and operate in the X's and O's and designs,and push the ball downfield working under Callahan, and why would want to return
to that dink and dunk version of his that likely infuriate Garett into bumping heads with Callahan.

and it's a reason why Callahan's name does not even come up as HC candidate consideration when teams are on the hunt for a new HC... much less a OC.
he's probably stuck in his role as an OL coach, to which is easily among the very best at that role in the NFL.
