Jones says Garrett will return as Head Coach for 2014

It really doesn't matter who's the coach as long as Jerry's running things.

Not really. This team needs a coach that can challenge Jerry. Make Jerry change the organization to a more football centric organization. Parcells did this. Jerry was walking on eggshells when Parcells was here. He ran the operation his way and not Jerry's way.

The problem is Garrett is that he is nothing more than a puppet. He is what the corporate world calls a yes man. Thats because of his lack of inexperence and knowledge about coaching. Jerry runs roughshod over him.

We need a new coach badly. Someone that is not afraid to tell it as it is to Jerry and be able to make changes despite what Jerry says.

When we have a coach like that, like a Parcells, will be on our way to winning.

Coaching is a big, big issue in Dallas. Garrett is not even fit to coach.

Signing Terrell Owens was a Parcells decision? If Parcells would have had his way, Dallas would have taken Marcus spears instead of Demarcus Ware. In all likelihood, Ware wouldn't have been available at Dallas' 2nd pick of the round.

Pretty much every beat writer from Nick Eatman to Mickey to Broaddus all have said that this announcement means jack. Broaddus said basically "Garrett grew up in a football house and he knows the deal, he knows he has 6 games left".

They all are in agreement that if the team does poorly over these last 6 games and we dont make the playoffs that Garrett is gone. Eatman even said that an 8-8 finish with no playoffs would not only get Garrett fired, but he deserves to be fired in that scenario. Considering all of these guys are doing their shows from inside Valley Ranch, I find it hard to believe that they are all clueless and are just making stuff up.

I still think the only chance of him being gone is if they lose 5 of their last 6 AND the Giants win the division after starting out 0-6. If the Giants win the division, that'll really irk Jerry- considering they were 0-6.

Your right it was still Jerry who signed TO. Parcells was upset that they didn't get Spears with their first pick but he used the 2nd first rounder on Spears, which obviously states that Parcells has had control over who he can pick. Garrett doesn't even have that.

You may not like Parcells, but he changed a lot with this organization more than you can admit. It righted this sinking ship on where it was supposed to go.

Parcells cut out the unnecessary baggage to this team. He let Emmitt Smith go. Jerry would never do that.

Parcells got Flozelle Adam signed a big contract. While Jerry didn't want to give it to him.

Parcells changed the philosophy of the team. Got rid of people playing dominos and Roddy making the place look like a circus. Parcells wasn't afraid to call people out as well, even the old timers.

Sure, Jerry signed TO. But Parcells brought in a lot more of his people and his coaches than anyone have heard of. Parcells rode people hard even TO and got him under control. No one ranted at Parcells and not even TO. Antonio Bryant threw a tantrum at Parcells and Parcells had him shipped out. Heck, Parcells got rid of their starting QB, which was Carter back then, which eventually led to Romo being a Cowboy till now.

Parcells drafts were terrible especially Fasano and Carpenter. But he got Witten, Gurode, Terry Glen, Peyton as a coach, and basically made the Dallas Cowboys a fully functional football team.

Sorry for the messy post. Went to a bar to see the Pacquio fight. Im drunk.

But I stand by what Parcells has done tot this team. His legacy still lives on.
