I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
Laugh, we are past depression and on to therapeutics now

I'm somewhere in the middle of a lot of this discussion. Here is what I mean. I think Garrett has a lot of promise. I just honestly do. But I'm not with those who think that Jerry has treated all of his head coaches the same. Sorry, you will never convince me in a million years that Jimmy was treated the same as Dave Campo. I saw everything I needed to see the day Jerry LITERALLY ripped the Lombardi Trophy out of Barry Switzer's hands. So my opinion is that you can fire Garrett if you want, but at the end of the day, if there is a problem in Dallas, it is at the very top of the organization. My 2 cents.
so dont fix a problem that can be fixed because there is another problem that cant be fixed?
laughable but par for the course for garrett groupies
I forgot one item on my daily digest for the forum.... personal insult (Garrett groupies)... it is what folks do when they can't make their case on merit.
my apologies, i usually try to avoid people who have a daily digest as i usually find that to be a red flag
did not realize that you would consider being a garrett groupie an insult, i thought it would make you proud to be recognized as such (sort of a badge of honor)
also, you did not address the main point of my post:
should we not fix a problem that can be fixed because there is another problem that cant be fixed?
this cant be life
lol... you can tell I'm deeply troubled about it. In fact, not troubled at all, just pointing out the predictable shtick. I think I answered the point of your post before you posted. You just (par for the course) don't listen. I said that I don't think Garrett is a problem. If there is a problem (and I think this IS a problem) it is Jerry Jones as GM. I didn't say I have a daily digest (in literal terms), by the way, I used it as an analogy, and it is a sound one. We can basically announce the day's posts before they are posted because people are immovable in their opinions/views. It is the same stuff regurgitated over and over and over and over again. Different starting point, different news sets it off, but it never changes. I'm not complaining about it (I'm obviously here), but I just find it humorous. Jones announces that Garrett will be back next year and we have 15 pages of posts largely arguing either that this is stupid, or that Jerry will still fire him. lol.
If we announced everything early, we'd miss out on actual threads like this one, which has been absolute gold so far.
How much more mediocrity does the gm have to demonstrate before you people stop crying for him to rescue you from the head coach?
This needs to be framed.... stickied.... remembered. Succinct and spot on.
Yes, the GM is so terrible but the coach he hired is SO GOOD. Great logic from the Parrots.
