Well, lets just pray that JG has learned and improve on his game plans and adopt play to win, not play not to lose

That's all it seems he needs to do really. I like his attitude more than Wade's so I don't see that being the biggest problem with him.

reading comprehension failure.

why is it those that want the mediocre gm to fire the coach can't comprehend the written language? I think they go hand in hand.

You compared JG to jimmy Johnson. That alone, is moronic. And a sure sign of an agenda. The players are justified in questioning the coaching on this team.

Constant under achieving, playing down to competition, doesn't know how to utilize weapons(dez),.. This all falls on JG. Why would anyone want him to be our coach going forward?

Why does everybody think this means Garrett will be back as coach next season.
What this shows me is Garrett is definitely on the hot seat.
The last time Jerry said a coaches job is safe, he fired Wade the very next week.
He even said he wouldnt fire a coach midseason, yet he did.

If I was garrett, I would be extremely worried right now.
I would open up the offense and let it all out.
He knows the defense cant stop anyone, so the offense has to improve to save his job (thats the only chance he has)
He needs to throw everything at the Giants, including the kitchen sink, and hope that this gets the offense going and gives the offense some confidence.

After that quote by Jerry, he knows he's next to go, he was here and saw it happen with Wade first hand.
And his offense is the only way he can try and save his job.
I predict an offensive explosion by the Cowboys against the Giants (I hope im right) cause thats what I would do if I was in Garretts shoes right now.

Jason Garrett will be the coach next year. and he would rather have Monte Kiffin, than any other DC. do you really need to hear anything else?keep buying his tickes and food and drinks at his stadium. and you will keep getting what you have been getting the last 17 years.this is yet another slap in the face to Cowboys fans from Jerry.

Jason Garrett is Jerry's pet project and has been since before Wade was hired. I think Jerry believes that Garrett has the potential to be a great HC one day and all he needs is some on the job training. He's seen what happened when he let Sean Payton slip away and I think he's terrified of seeing Garrett do the same. (I'm not trying to compare the two as coaches.)

I believe that Jerry is being truthful with this statement. Look for Callahan and/or Kiffen to be fired and Garrett to be retained though I wouldn't be shocked if the whole staff returned next year.

Dark days indeed my friends...:(

Think of it this way: Our statuesque third-string QB form the Super Bowl dynasty years is now our underachieving head coach. The third-string QB!

Good. Romo and Bryant were just quoted as being in huge support of this.

Its amazing how so many of us here on this board know more than a 3x superbowl winning billionaire team owner... Not to mention how we all know so much more than the teams pro bowl QB.

I dont get the purpose of saying this now. I mean, why do it with 6 games left in the season?

Why didnt he just say "I will not discuss and coaching issues until the season is over".

How many other owners of teams that are 500 right now have come out and guaranteed their head coach will be back next year?
