Jerry Jones said the Cowboys will go "all-out" in the season finale.

With nothing to gain in Week 17, it would make sense for the Cowboys to get players like Ezekiel Elliott some rest heading into the postseason, as they did in 2016, but it does not sound like that is the plan. "We don’t want to, if we can, go into the playoff with dangling participles — loose ends," Jones said. Even if he plays, it would be foolish for Dallas to give Zeke a full workload in a meaningless game.

he has zero idea of how JG will handle this, they will start like normal but I imagine they start sitting people after 1st series in third, thats good enough to stay in Normalcy..

I'd take out everyone who's not a rookie (Vander Esch as an exception) after the 1st quarter. This is a good game to see Cooper Rush in what is essentially another pre-season game.

He knows exactly how it will be done..

Garrett has a phone line to the luxury box.

When Jerrah says call off the dogs..

Garrett will.

I completely agree.

Go for the win.

If you go slow..

Guys will get injured.

Winning when you are supposed to is the best remedy to keeping things moving forward.

BS JJ doesnt control game day decsions..its myth.. he may have input during the week with all staff present to come up with an agreeable strategy but no way hes bothering JG during the game..actually might be Illegal by communications rule..i get what people POV are concerning Jerry but he really wont have input come kickoff and beyond, JG will play them normally but SUB more the first half, and come third QTR he will oull who he can after first series.. it would be asinine to NOT get White and Rush quality snaps, they havent got any as we play to close of games but the Colts game was a mistake I dont they will do that again..let see if White is active and we will know for sure..I would activate white and rush and play them the third and 4th quarters..

Hard to do that. Not enough offensive linemen for one and the d-line rotates everyone in and out. I’d sit Zeke and Tyron and start everyone else. I’d pull Dak after the first series, same with Amari. Other than that it’s business as usual.

Zeke needs work, he's always slow to get up to speed after a lay-off.

I agree somewhat with Jones. The offense struggled mightily against Indianapolis and was only a hair better versus Tampa Bay.

They need in-game repetitions in conjunction with practice. The offense should not depend on the defense to shorten the field to score. They should depend on their own ability to sustain drives into the endzone.

That sounds about how it will play out. Don't take the week off. Get out there, try to put it away early, and then rest your horses.

I just want the cowboys to win next week to give the Raiders a lower draft pick seed
I'm pretty sure once you make the playoffs it then goes by how your eliminated to determine draft status.

2017 draft (for the 2016 season) we where 1st seed but still picked right before Greenbay and Atlanta because they advanced farther in the playoffs.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the "phone line to the luxury box" comment was hyperbole. It's based on the bygone era of Jerry going down to the sidelines where coaches have admitted he tried to influence their in game decisions.

I say you approach this game just like you would any other. You don't change the way you do thing right before playing the games that actually matter. That would be counterproductive. If you get to the half and the game looks lost/won, then you start thinking about sitting guys, but I thinks it's important everything around the game stays as routine as possible.

Text it.

I think you are naive.

Sorry.

Winning or losing our week 17 game has a direct impact on where the pick is.

Where already locked into 4th seed (can't go up or down) and picks 21 to 32 are locked for playoff teams depending on how far they go into the playoffs.

We tried that on 2016
Didn’t end well
Rest anyone who has injuries that an extra week will help
Rest Zeke since he’s had a very, very busy year and could benefit with a week off
Dak and the receivers need to all play every snap and pray they can get on track again and come up with some kind of red zone solution
