We're all ready to have the guy before firing squad when he screws up. Let's give props on 4/4. Just about all of them were right down the middle.

Question. With the way hes kicking all of a sudden, do we leave Cundiff alone at the 10 week mark or do we sign him back?

sign Cundiff. still don't trust Cortez any further than I can throw him.

He has a bigger leg than ole Cundiff does and seems to be kicking alot better.

4/4 today.

On that note...did you folk see that Falcons punter hit that 58 yrd FG today? Hahah.

Yeah man that was insane

did you see how initially he had missed it but Vrabel on the Patriots had called a time-out RIGHT before he kicked it, and the timeout went unnoticed until it was brought to his attention by pretty much the entire falcons coaching staff

then on the re-kick, he nailed the FG

cortez seems to do well when there's no pressure - horrible when the pressure is on. his kickoffs are good, but i'll still take Cundiff and actually i'm surprised we're not more active in looking to replace cortez. still, i think we all know he will be looking for another job next year regardless...

side note - what was up with that lame punt by mcbriar - couldn't have gone 30 yards? where are all the boomers, or did parcells decide to kick for coverage rather than yardage after all?

Gotta give cortez credit...he had a good game.

Aside from the FGs, he boomed his kickoffs.

:lmao2:

That makes it even better. Hahah good to hear. Good job by that punter.

I was hoping NE would drop another today. Gotta give it to Brady tho. he was what? 20/29 350 2TD?

I cant believe the kid is that good. Can you imagine him w/ some really great WRs?

Sppoooookie

Going 4/4 in a blowout doesn't mean jack to me. I want to see Cortez kick them when they really mean something.

well, it was his first punt and it ain't like he had a chance to get in rhythm.

Yah.

We could have left those 12 pts out on the field. We certainly didnt need them.

It's a lot easier to make a field goal when your team is up by 21. It's a whole different story with 5 seconds left and the game riding on your foot. Cundiff has been more battle tested. I don't trust Cortez as much as Cundiff.

not only that, but his kickoffs were mostly good too.

thumbs up, jose!

Cortez blasted a few into the endzone. I've never seen Cundiff do that.

If Cortez can continue to play well, there's no reason to bring Billy C back.
