Overshown Healing Up

Still, I would expect him to start out tentatively and I would expect him to be limited by the team doctors and coaches as they bring him back slowly and cautiously.

We've all heard this before. Considering the injury and the fact that it is his 2nd in a row, I don't want to be over-optimistic. It may take half a season before his abilities are completely available.

Me too, brother. How can you not root for a person who always wears a big smile.
Obviously a product of his home town, Arp. And he's a Longhorn, so you know he learned a lot there about character and leadership. We need a leader like him that shows the defense you can outplay Parsons on some plays, and it isn't all about him.

That's what Overshown brings. Someone who pushes everyone including Parsons.

I mean, back to my point. There were times when Parsons and Overshown were blowing up plays. Parsons would be like ***? Because Overshown beat him to the play. Fun stuff to watch.

Both are great. I just wish O could stay healthy. Like, not rush it. Last time, he rushed it back for the team and that cost him. Dallas is a team that really wants you to play in spite of injuries.

The funniest part, I forgot to add, was the fact Jaylon sucked anyway and we labored away speculating all that for a crappy player. Lol.
Many fans had a lot of hoped for Jaylon. In 2018 it appeared he might turn out but it was downhill from there. He became a whipping boy.

I know, I was amongst them. I see the irony now.

It doesn't mean anything, this is the last one we will see, he will go on to have a great career, no more major injuries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you’re right because so far he’s been an injury magnet! A piece of delicate glass. There’s absolutely nothing to back up what you’re saying. Again, I’ll use the word hope, because that’s all we have. Sean Lee and LVE might have been less likely to be injured, and that’s saying something.

I know some will say this video means nothing.
Is there any doctors or physical therapists on this forum that can explain that whatever he was doing shows progress in the rehab. Or let me be more clear, I have no idea if him doing what he was doing is supposed to happen within 2 weeks of post op or 2 years after post op. So that video will mean more to someone who is in the field or has experience. Him doing that exercise is that ahead of schedule? Right on track? Behind schedule?

I’m looking forward to seeing him on the field again

People!!! Please don't place expectations on this young man. He is far far far from being able to play football. My guess is this season he will not play. And when he does come back I doubt he will be the same player. Knee injuries involving tearing all the ligaments take years to heal. This is exactly why I wanted Dallas to draft MLB Walker with their 12th pick.

easy man easy, i'm worried too, but sometimes you just have to be a little hopeful

Love the attitude
plays with reckless abandon
leaves it all out on the field
but some things cannot be overcome
so until he is doing it like he was on the field
this is all hopieum

Fuzzylumpkins once had a Chinese chicken salad which in his mind made him an expert in eastern medicine and peroneal nerve damage.
