What a year! I guess he left too much meat on the bone.

He is an immature dope. Murray was a leader. We still should not have resigned Murray, but Randle would have been better as the change of pace back.

Poor planning for 2015 which is now officially, " The Lost Season "

Every year for every team that doesn't win is a lost season.

It was weird that Garret was stating unequivocally recently that McFadden is the RB. Now we know why.

Hate to see someone lose his job so unexpectedly, but maybe he will learn from this situation.

They had to completely adapt their play calling to him and hes still turning 20 + yards carries into less than 5 yards, he is useless in zone plays and thats what we ran for the most part with most success last year.

Lol so they adapted their play calling from the 150 rushing yards that mcfadden put on the Giants and the 111 yards he put on the Seahawks? Sure dude

Do not feel remotely confident with our running back situation now. Not that Randle brought much to the table, but they are paper thin at rb now..

Who is out there still... Trent Richardson ? (Saints are working him out today).. Isaiah Pead (Steelers just signed him the other day), .. Knowshon Moreno? Pierre Thomas? Hillis?

How do we definitely need an upgrade to mcfadden? He has been balling these last 2 games that he has started, over 100 yards in both games. People have got to stop this ridiculous anti-mcfadden speel because he has been a bright spot ever since he has been starting even with no qb out there.

McFadden can't be trusted over the long haul. He was getting gassed last game and had to leave momentarily.

I really can't believe that there would be Cowboys fans that have an issue with this.

He's not a good enough RB to have to put up with the consistent drama on a monthly basis with this guy.

McFadden is giving all he has, but I'm very concerned because he couldn't even make it the entire game without needing an IV. It's only a matter of time before he gets hurt. Then we only have Christine Michael. My lord.

Dez bryant couldn't make it through game one without needing an IV. He also was pulled from several games last year to get an IV. All I know is that mcfadden stepped up when he was called upon. Which is more than I can say for a lot of other people on this team who didn't answer the call

I hope so.... I don't like our chances with McFadden staying healthy and only Michael as a backup. IMO-- a trade for Matt Forte or Lamar Miller makes a ton of sense. Not only would they would be an upgrade in terms of talent and vet leadership-- but they would allow McFadden to be used as an excellent change of pace RB.

Forte in particular would be a "splashy" JJ type-move. Would give the team a morale boost and would add a bona-fide playmaker on offense in both the running and passing game.

What has McFadden done or not do, to speculate an injury. Past history, yes. But that is history. Any player at any time can get hurt. McFadden has performed well, and shown some toughness. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt that he can stay healthy. Just as Murray had that history also. And BOTH RB's stayed healthy last year.

There are no RB's out there worth a trade to be a "splash" player. Not at this point to make a difference for the price to pay.

What a great decision to go with him and not resign Murray.

but, but, but his YPC in 2014....and Murrays lack of burst.......!!! were fine, just fine....

I am surprised he was released. I thought he was a decent backup....relief back.

I really didn't think the season could go this badly. What a fall from grace. My god the hindsight of not drafting a RB is just insane now.

When you long for Lance Dunbar it's just the worst sign.

Bad times.
