Joseph Randle TD Run

He was then rewarded with no more carries.

It's really odd to me how few snaps Randle and Dunbar play. They've both had success when they have played.

Murray has an incredible workload. Was it 41 touches between carries and receptions?

Murray's also a better pass protector and a much better receiver out of the backfield.

Yep. All things being equal I would much, much rather have Murray stay. But if it's a matter of investing my cap and resources strategically, I am slowly becoming OK with the risk of Randle + 1 vet FA and/or draftee. It's a calculated risk, but at least I'm starting to see some insurance against it.

He's got some good moves, cuts and burst that he didn't have during his rookie season, guess it's all part of being in offseason and being comfortable with offense.

Randle is the, realistic, reason why I'm not worried if Murray leaves. I think Randle has the possibility to be better.

I have serious doubts Randle can be a consistent 15-20 carry RB. If Murray is let go, the team definitely should be looking for a RB in the first 3 rounds of the draft. If anything, maybe they expand Randles role as the backup next season, whether Murray stays or not.

Really fast and slick , the cutback was pretty smart and decisive, wonder why Murray was in the game after his 150 yards , he added a lot of negative yards after, instead we cud hav used fresh bodies of randle and dunbar , who knows we could have scored a TD instead of FG

Dez was blocking until the play was over martins block on 2nd level was fun to watch , but on the other side Williams didn't even try...it was pathetic and Lazy

Agreed, I find it curious. We often hear it's about how they practice so I wonder, what with his recent off field trouble, if Randle just didn't have his head in the right place. Hopefully if that is the case he's getting it right now, because I see a lot of upside with him.

If Murray stays or goes is irrelevant... Run him to the wheels fall of this year.. Next year he'll be worn down.. We're going to need randle and another draft pick going forward..

that jump cut and then accelerate to still make it in the touchdown still have me amazed. That's what you see from McCoy.

this.

demarco is having a fantastic season. but *why* don't they give the other backs at least a few carries, especially in games where they have a solid lead? i don't get it. if randle and dunbar can't handle 4 or 5 carries apiece, why are they on the roster?

Love Martin and Dez on that play.

And Frederick, pushed back initially, just tosses dude aside at the end

I've read multiple reports indicating the team plans on riding DeMarco Murray as long as any game is in doubt.

But how can they look at what Joseph Randle does in limited work and not want to expand his role?

a thousand likes...dez made a key block as well.
t-fred destroys

zack martin and this line is so great.

Because Murray is on pace for 2000

Makes zero sense to me.
