Lol so it was just Dak..Look up Mahomes QBR in the SB..did he just "Decide" not to lift his team?

First Josh A. now were talking about Mahomes in regards to Dak? At least make it realistic and say Cousins or Carr for some comparison.

In all fairness Dak is expected to perform like a top 10 QB in the league. Coming into the season there was a huge debate as to if hurts would be the starter next year or if Philly should use their draft picks to grab a new QB. The difference in celebration & criticism is about what each has accomplished in their careers. One has established that they can win in this league, the other we have just recently found that out.

It turns out that Hurts and what he does good, works good against the new defense that prevents deeps passes.
This defense makes teams drive for scores, short passes and running.
Give the phil OC credit for making a playbook that fits what is needed to have success against this type defense.

So I think it is more about OC's and how they game plan, and the playbooks they use , not the qb's.

Not every team is using the new def, and some may not have the personnel to run it well.

I think some OC's are still trying to run the plays they like instead of what is going to work well against the teams that run the
new defense.
This is why scoring is down, because many OC's are not wanting to let their playbook go and design a new one.
Philly did, and they are 8-0

So it depends on kellen as to how well our offense will do against certain teams that employ the new defense.

Exactly. So if fans are gonna knock Herbert for his season thus far, it only stands to reason Dak should be criticized the same right? In other words, trying to argue Dak is better by pointing out Herbert has regressed this year is a bizarre argument to make when Dak has also regressed.

Yes he does and as the best QB in the league how many SB has he won with them..again no denying he is better than Dak but how has he done when his team is not the best? Again all I'm saying is the QB is not the only thing...and we should all be hopeful the one thing that does help a QB who is not the best is a good defense....first time since 19996 we can even compare our defense to that

Never understood why some can't acknowledge the fact. Seriously, it's OK to be average, there's a lot of that in this country.

Most do, he is above"Average" but no he is not Allen or Mahomes neither is any other QB right now...are we living in some time warp that says we can get a duplicate?

QB's dont win or lose games, teams do.

Cowboys have also beat plenty of playoff teams with Dak at QB. Also won a playoff game with Dak at QB. So even by your measure, hes great.

Dak has one playoff win in 7 years and has lost his last 5 to playoff teams since mid last -season.

Hopefully he improves.

News Flash there are 32 starting QB's...very few are considered great (rank them against TB12) Dak is a very good QB, he is not the best arm like Allen or Mahomes neither is any other QB in the league right now...he is well above average though....let me guess "But look at his contract" yeah much less QB's are making more and will continue to because back to point #1 none of these guys are Allen or Mahomes....biggest point and really get this through your thick head...YOUR NOT GETTING ALLEN OR MAHOMES funny thing thier teams seem to like them...crazy stuff.

So........ you could go all kinds of directions with that; playoff wins, Superbowl's, overall record, etc...That being said, can we say Dak is mediocre? He's not special, not extraordinary, not exceptional, and not great. He is of medium quality, so MEDIOCRE is the appropriate term instead of average. I'm glad we finally solved this with the right term.
