There is no universe where Dak Prescott is on the same level as Josh Allen.

The gap in ability and skill is just astronomical in favor of Allen.
Dak is a good serviceable QB that Jerry anointed elite. You get some very good games from him but many duds when it counts. There was a window with Dak his first 4 years but the team was built on offense with mediocre defense because that’s the Jerry way, he doesn’t get good at QB needs elite Defense to carry him. Dak doesn’t elevate the players around him like Brady, Allen, Mahomes, Wilson, Rodgers does he just is what he has always been it’s not going to change. The saddest part is he get extended for another 4 years or so and the homers will keep telling everyone that he’s as good or better than the above mentioned QBs and how Dak would be just as good if he played on those teams, excuses are daily reading along with stats. You must be a hater slandering Daks elite ability hiding behind your new picture to fool everyone. (JK)

I do not believe that the Bills have better weapons than what Dak has had in the past but Allen has elevated the talent with his play. While in Dallas, I do believe we overrate our talent, I believe Amari Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Schultz, Zeke are much better weapons than what Allen is working with.

It's simple: If you want to get paid the big boy bucks, you have to play like a big boy.

Dak couldn't shine Allen's cleats.......:muttley:

Exactly right.

They think he is some prolific pocket passer and he isnt.

He is a pretty good QB that is used incorrectly.

But, since they wasted his rookie deal on trying to create the perfect puppet HC, they have to try to feature him to justify the contract.

You packed a whole lotta truth into just a few sentences here.

Well said.

Dak isn’t and never will be on the same level as Josh Allen

We all know what Dak is at this point. He is not going to reinvent himself in year 7.
I like Dak....I don't think he's horrible...I think he's a solid QB but he ain't no Josh Allen. That is obvious to see. He will never be that guy but there ain't too many like that to be honest. That guy is a Beast

Cowboys front office may dream of that becoming a reality one day, but it’s a pipe dream.

We all know what Dak is at this point. He is not going to reinvent himself in year 7.

I know you mean well and you needed yo make a point, brave lad, but it pains me to see the names Dak and Josh in the same senetence. They are light-years apart in talent.
We can only dream of having such a talented QB in Dallas.

Not happening in Dallas, Dak will be the QB possibly longer than Jerry is the owner, isn’t that a frightening sad thought.

It's about relevance not trophies. Learn to appreciate it.

Say it over and over with me: Mediocrity plus marketing sells, lol.

That is what matters.
We’ve been doing that for what 26 years what’s another 20 give or take.

I also think it's interesting to compare Josh Allen to Carson Wentz. Both were huge, athletic white guys from small-time colleges, both had every physical tool in the bag, but had shaky accuracy and some bad decision making habits.

Allen has plainly grinded like mad on his game, and after a questionable first two years, he exploded into a star. I can't think of another player whose completion percentage rose so far from college to the NFL.

Wentz refuses to listen to coaching and refuses to stop playing hero ball, and so he's basically never progressed since he left North Dakota State. Now he's a coach-killer on his 3rd team whose career is circling the drain. Allegedly, a Washington DE chasing him down in practice starting yelling "throw the ball away!", and Wentz still ran out of bounds. He has MVP level talent like Allen does, but he just either doesn't care about ball or is too arrogant to play on anything but his own terms.

Allen is the best young QB in the league so it’s a high standard to apply to Dak.

At least Dak is better than Wentz and Goff, his peers from the 2016 draft.

Wasn't there a thread a couple years ago asking who was better, or who you'd rather have Dak or Josh Allen? Would be interesting to see the comments haha. Anyways, kudos to Allen and the Bills Org for developing this guy because wasn't close to the guy we see now a couple years ago.

Buffalo has a much better defense than the Cowboys have ever had under Dak. They were number one in defense last season and just got better with Von Miller. It certainly helps your QB when you have an outstanding defense. Plus the Bills have a very solid OL. Despite Allen throwing 2 INTs they still walked all over the Rams. Allen has a great team around him with excellent coaching. Easy for a QB to overcome a couple of mistakes when they have such a great team around them.
