Yikes. Rangers' decision not to re-sign him is looking better and better each year. Hope he gets well though. Drug addiction is no joke.

I always said chasing money and not staying with the rangers would be a poor decision for his personal life.

He did this to himself, too many chances and he should be out of baseball. Wonder if the Angels can get out of that contract?

Not unless something was written into the contract specifically I wouldnt think.

The Skankees would love to get out of the A-Roid contract but it aint happening! :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::clap:

True. They aren't.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they ultimately do not have to pay for the HR bonuses.

So how's Nelson Cruz going to do this season? :D

I dont think he hits 40 HR's this year playing half of his games in Safeco. I could be wrong, but Im thinking the Mariners will not get their $57 million worth.

Of course they won't.

They won't get it out of the Cano contract either.

Going with expensive FA's are a tough way to hoe.

We keep hearing that these huge contracts are going to be a thing of the past but we see them every year. Look at the Nats with Sherzer. Nuts Nuts Nuts

I think he left the rangers because he was "the Guy" and the pressure was getting to him, you could see the cracks forming. He went to the Angels where they have a couple of "The guys" and thought he could be better served being a support guy. I just do not see how the Angels can recover if Hamilton is gone and Pujols gets a year older and their starting pitching is about middle of the division if not the AL.

sober or not the dude swings and misses at more horrible pitches at his feet than any 10 other hitters I've ever seen.
