I live 4 miles form their spring raining stadium but cant excited about going to see them for some reason.

I might head to South Florida next weekend for my birthday and catch some ST games, never been during March.

I am a baseball nut, can watch anyone play anywhere. Nothing like drinking beer, eating dogs and hearing the crack of the bat on a Summers eve in a new city which I go see the Mets play a few times during the season.

Its fun. Baseball is hard to beat and spring training fills that winter void of no baseball. 162 games and I dont miss many at all. MLB.tv is a wonderful thing.

I don't either until late August when my team is usually out of it, then I watch the Giants(grew on me since I lived there).

Wouldn't wish this disease on anyone but Hamilton seems rather confused and mentally childish even in the most sober of times.
Some of his comments are just dumb. Make an easy target even more attack-worthy.

Hopefully he beats the disease and has a decent rest of his life but I have no wish regarding him returning to high level baseball.
The Angels threw stupid money at him mostly because they could and deserve what they are getting.

disease is a cop out. Its mental weakness and lack of integrity and strength of mind. That is not a disease.

I always said chasing money and not staying with the rangers would be a poor decision for his personal life.

Rangers did a lot in the background (kind of like the Cowboys do with CHill) to try and insulate Hamilton. That's something that an agent probably doesn't care one bit about, but they should. I, like others I'm sure, think it was a mistake for him to leave Texas but money drives things and that's what happened with Hamilton. Off course, if Hamilton is unable to get this corrected, his agent will be moving on and Hamilton will be dealing with those decisions. It is his own fault but it's unfortunate that more importance wasn't lent to fact that the Rangers did a great deal to try an insure that Hamilton was in a situation that helped him deal with substance abuse. LA, no matter how you try to safeguard is about one of the worst possible places a guy with an addiction could land IMO.

I think you're right. IMO he made a big mistake leaving Texas. If he left, I thot Baltimore would have been a good place for him with Buck and the atmosphere around that team. Lotta good guys and great environment with that team. Yea, Im an Orioles fan but I think Baltimore could have been a good place for him.
