This is a lot of money, especially the guaranteed. But it's less than I was expecting, frankly.

15-16 I was sure he was coming in at. I was also pretty sure he'd get 5 years for full signing bonus benefit.

I'm floored at 50 guaranteed.

Good for the Skins. Daniel Snyder hasn't learned that flashing his cash isn't going to win him any Super Bowls.

Seems like they make a huge deal every year. It takes us a decade to recover from the Carr deal. It takes them an off-season. Go figure.

When you go to JUCO and then Coastal Carolina it isn't surprising that his breakout year came in his 4th season.

AND he is 28, quit trying to move the goalposts. Dez Bryant is 27.
Dez Bryant has had one of the most prolific starts to a wide receiver career of all time.

Norman has one good year on tape in an elite defense.

Apples and oranges I'd say.

Yeah real high risk signing All Pros.

Didn't PHI turn 3 mistakes into a ton a cap room and the 2nd pick in the draft?

Go wash your Heath and Hanna jerseys, they are good for 4 more years.

You don't have an argument. It's over for you. You came in wanting to cry, you let emotion cloud your opinion on this. I get it, you'll go to sleep and wake up realizing how stupid your overreaction is on this.

You can continue labeling him an "all-pro" like he's been one for several years. They didn't just sign Revis/Sherman, they signed what could be a one year wonder. When the very team that saw your every game and every practice doesn't want any part of you, that says more than that "All-pro" tag you keep throwing around as a trump card.

Why does it seem like all of the top FAs at their positions have to sign with our rivals? Can't they go bug someone in the AFC?

Funny, I was just talking to my wife about the same thing. Lol
Although, all things considered, I am not worried about this signing and I'm glad it was not us tbh.

He will turn 29 before the season, I read.

Wow
So 4 years in the league including 1 season (2013) where he was benched
7 total int (4 in 2015 alone )
2 Td both in 2015
4 forced fumbles total
And 37 passes defended out of 53 games played ?
That equals 75 million with 50 million guaranteed !!!

Congrats Josh Norman !!! Kudos to you !!!
Just insane for his production ... And before you all say well cowboys got fleeced by Brandon Carr .. I don't disagree but his stats were similar prior to Dallas

4 years
8 int
64 games played 65 passes defended

And Carrs first 2 years with Dallas were better than most of Josh Normans with 3 int in 2012 and 3 in 2013 with 1 Td in each year

Personally both teams overpaid but can't say that with definitive resolution on Commanders yet as have to see how Norman performs in Washington moving forward... But glad we didn't pay that bill ..

Apples and oranges I'd say.

Not talking stats (but they are similar).

Everyone is bringing up his age and adding to it to make the the signing look bad.

My point is Dez is going to be 28 this year as well as Norman. If Norman is too old then Dez is too old.

I don't buy the argument, I think 28 is prime time.

Looks as if Jerry may have to hire a shrink to work wth Dez to try and keep Norman from getting inside his head twice a year.

I really dont understand this ultra cheap approach from the franchise lately. This only works if you have elite scouts and a front office.

Does seem Steven is way more frugal than Jerry, time will tell if this is a good thing or not
