JPP: Cowboys game ‘like a Super Bowl’ to Giants

I don't think this team had the back bone to stand up to them. I get the feeling the Giants want revenge and can taste the blood in the water. I get the feeling they want this game and I get the feeling this team is not interested. I fully expect them to beat the Boys and the team to continue turning their backs on JG, I get the feeling the players are not buying the goods this staff is selling them outside of Rod

You need to get control of your feelings.

If Cowboys win, our season is over. If Giants win, Dallas is still ahead of Giants due to division record.

So JPP is right. But will he be able to back all this talk up? Not sure.

Now onto Dallas. I expect a big game from Romo. Eli finished Dallas' and Romo's season 2 times already. Will Romo strike back? I think yes.

JPP may be looking at it that way and so may the Giants. He's doing a lot of talking. I'd ignore him too and let the play do the talking.

I think you might be right.

Does anyone think the Cowboys are approaching this game with the same sense of urgency?

Does anyone not?

At least, reading the link you provided, it seems like most of their players have more respect for the Cowboys than many of our fans.

They're trying to talk themselves into this being a Superbowl atmosphere for both teams, because they know how much it sets them back if they lose at home and we sweep them. They're season would be effectively done. The same isn't true for the Cowboys, where a loss would tie the two teams and just even up the series with 5 yet to play and the Eagles still on our schedule and us holding the tiebreaker if we sweep them.

I think we're going to find out if the bums in blue are back as the media has proclaimed. I think we're going to find out if the Ginger Clapper and Co. have really made some urgently needed "adjustments" to this inconsistent underachieving offense. If this offense performs up to its capabilities and we get some guys back on D we will beat Lil Blue. If we dont beat them it will be more of the Giants Are Back media love and we will be the 5th pathetic farce of a team to play them in a row.

I actually don't think it is as critical to the Cowboys as it is to the giants. Cowboys serious stuff starts on Thanksgiving day..
If the Cowboys lose Sunday they will still be ahead of the Giants. We are not facing them again, we split the two games with them...

Of course a win would be a huge plus and push to win the division, but a loss does not actually impact our ultimate goal of winning NFCE.

Of course it's their Super Bowl for this season. They lose and they are pretty much done. They would have 7 losses and be behind us and the Eagles and we still have the tiebreaker on them head to head. They need this way more than us but hopefully that is not our mindset.

But I don't trust this team at all in big games with Garrett as coach. Coughlin and his group have shown they can win when they need to. We have not.
