Are you trying to compare the Giants of a few years ago to the trash heap of a team they are this year?

1. The G-Men were a 9-7 'trash heap' when they won the title in 11. They just got hot at the right time.

2. How was my comment kissing arse and how was I dragging you down too it? Somebody said they were only good at trash talking, I pointed it out they have backed it up by winning SB, and that equates to arse kissing? I guess honesty isn't appreciated around this joint.

Maybe it's cause I'm only in my early 20s and I didn't witness the glory of the 90s which makes my expectations low, but it amazes me how some are so down on the Boys and have lost hope. I mean don't get me wrong they played horribly on national television and don't deserve any respect or confidence from their fans, I guess I'm just a little shocked that people have already given up hope. I understand it though I guess in a sense ... just surprising.

It really is surprising man. These type of fans have always been around. The internet has given them a voice. They were probably crying about something in nineties too.

sorry i'm always told on here to "calm down, relax, it's just one game", after overreacting to early season games on here.

winning a game in week 6 on the road vs a team that can't win at home and that's starting a new qb is not a big game. lets see this team win some of these remaining division games..the bears game, the packers game at home....those are big games that will prove to us that this team is finally about something.

It should be a "pick em" game IMO. We are getting a lot of starters back and the Giants have been very weak this season on offense. I have watched both teams closely and we are the better team.

I think he's right. Giants win in a blowout. After how we looked vs the Saints, I have no confidence in the team.

We all know the defense is crap, but offense has no signs of life and is easily shut down. Can't compete when special teams is all youre good at

Game Breakdown:
Dal and NYG give up about same amount of points per game. Giants give up a zillion less yards but have trouble keeping teams from scoring.
Offensively, DAL scores the 5th most points in the league and the Giants score the 28th most.

Eli is leading the free world in INTs and will throw the ball up for grabs.
Romo has been far more reluctant than in years past to take chances or throw up 50/50 balls.

The Giants are as hot as they've been all year. The defense has been dominant really for this 4 game stretch though they did catch Minny with no QB, GB with no QB and Oakland who has no QB.
The impressive win was over the Eagles which matches the Cowboys for defensive excellence versus the Eagles.

The Cowboys have been solid all year. Took a loss at San Diego on the road after traveling cross country which is statistically expected.
Lost 3 games to the trio of 9 win Denver, 9 win KC and 8 win NO.
The pounding at NO has fans sounding alarms and jumping ship but it was just a single loss and the only blowout loss this team has suffered.
The though the Cowboys haven't been competitive is absurd.
But they were not against NO. Never even close in that one.
Too many 3rd string guys trying to get a job done they weren't ready or capable for.
And probably also one eye on the Bye week.

I have more confidence in the Giants coaching staff. Coughlin's team are maddeningly streaky and inconsistent but he finds a way to win games to save his job.
Garrett has shown little in after Bye week games so probably not a situation where you expect X and O wizardry.

BUT if you simply look at the rosters Dallas has more talent provided the guys return that are supposed to.
Dallas has the best WR, the best QB, the best Pass Rusher, the best OT and the best Cover guy.
The Giants have more depth in all those groups though and if this game is about 2nd strings Dallas will lose.

I think the point spread is fair. Dal +2.5 on the road.

Ultimately I think Romo is simply too good a QB for the Giants defense and Dallas finds a way to win with the last possession.

If this team had some nuts someone should have come out and said, "Well, bring it on, the only blood that is going to be spilled are yours"!
