I exect a loss. I think we lose to giants bears eagles and packers.
Aren't they pretty decent at winning SB?
I agree. But you forgot the Raiders and Commanders. This team (Cowboys) just doesn't care about winning, just the size of their paycheck. I hope I am wrong, but I don't think so...
Then don't watch! I'm sure there will be a game on CBS. You can watch that one.
In the event you do decide to watch let us know, we can send you a chaplain in the instance they lose. Quit sulking and move on.
No I'm guessing that no scheme would work having 7 to 8 starters sitting on the bench.
NEWS FLASH..............................
You realize none of us have anything to do with the outcome of the game..................you do realize that?
It means jack if a fan is confident, if a fan is optimistic, if a fan is pessimistic, if a fan just doesnt care, if a fan thinks its going to be a blowout, if a fan thinks its going to be a close game.....................ITS ALL JUST GUESSING!!!!!!!
So to make statements like "fans are scared" is just dumb..............We are all 3rd party observers that have no control or influence over the outcome of a sporting event...................You act like we are all suiting up on Sunday.
We have not swept the giants since 2007.
Last time we played the giants we won, but Eli put up 450 yards passing with 4 TDs and 3 ints
Nix had over 100 yards rec
Randle had over 100 yards rec
Cruz had over 100 yards and 3 TDs
Plus there were 3 other fumbles.
6 turn overs and we still barely won by 5 points.
Add that to our abysmal win loss record with JG as coach when we are coming out of a bye week.
Add that to the number of injuries we have had to our defense and Waters missing as well.
There is a reason many think we will not win this game, because this movie has been played before.
The last 4 weeks they've beaten Freeman, Barkley, Pryor and Tolzien, I mean common.
Lol!!!!
News flash!! I didn't say anyone was scared! I have every right to be positive as you do sulking on every thread on here.
My point is, for those who say " I want to see us lose" " game doesn't matter", or fans who have given up on this team can just go cheer HALF heartily for someone else. It's one thing to be upset, it's another to go out and wish a loss on your team for better draft positioning like some ppl on this forum have expressed. I'd rather they cheer HALF heartily for someone else, than the Cowboys.
At the end of the day my guess, is just that and I have never tied it to the actual outcome of any game win or lose.
At some point you just need a hug. I can't help you.
Confidence and Attitude goes a long way.....something the cowboys lack outside of Dez, Lee, and Carr
This is why I am still not sold on Giants. We are better in Defense for sure but Eli is still very shaky. This is the first time we will be facing a healthy offense with a solid QB after we were 0-6. I expect a close game but I think Dallas is slight favorite.

it'd be nice to hear one of our leaders speak like this just once.
or like this....(ware saying it with a colgate smile on his face doesn't count lol).
It should be a coin toss, as always.
Guys, some of you need to calm down. This is the .500 Cowboys. We beat teams below .500 and lose to teams above .500. The Giants are a VERY week team. There is no reason we don't go in there and get the win against them. Plus we are getting several quality players back... Hatcher, Wilcox, Claiborne, etc. The Giants are opening up as 2.5 favorites but I see us winning this one.
Here's the difference.
The Giants as a team have a lot more confidence in themselves than the Cowboys do. They have won two Super Bowls, and have beaten the Cowboys in potential season ending games on both occasions.
The Cowboys have lost win and you're in games the last two years, and have not swept the Giants in the regular season since 2007.
It's akin to a quote the late great Angelo Dundee made when speaking about Muhammad Ali prior to him facing Larry Holmes in 1980. Ali had looked like crap during training, with his sparring partners (including Tim Witherspoon and Thomas Hearns) getting the best of him. Reporters asked him how Ali thinks he can actually win the fight, being that he had been out of the ring for two years, and had looked terrible in training. Dundee said when Ali looks in the mirror, he feels good about himself. That, was all that he needs to think that he can, and will, win.
This is similar to how the Giants feel about themselves. Hopefully for the Cowboys, the Giants more resemble the Ali who fought Holmes rather than the fighter that he had been in other tough situations.
2.5 says giants are not getting traditional 3 as home team and aren't seen as being strong favorite
I love Romo, but even he has struggled lately. He really hasn't played very well since the Broncos game.
And the Giants pass rush is coming back. They were non-existent early in the year, but they are playing better now. And we have no guards to speak of. Doug Free is a good player when he has a solid, steady guard beside him. When he has players like Bernadeau beside him, Free is not a good player.
And Leary simply is not a starting calibre player.
So I see Romo running for his life this Sunday. That generally doesn't bode well for the team when he is in survival mode.
