JR have the type of game today that makes us not put a RB in the mock drafts here at the Zone for 2016

I tend to agree with Broaddus in that the Eagles defense is susceptible to gaping holes in the run game. In that scenario, you want the guy that bursts through holes with elite speed, and that would be McFadden, not Randle.

agree...and a guy who doesn't go down as easy as JR does.

I stand with Joe Randle.

Usually the backup qb is the fan's favorite non starter. Here on the zone it's the backup rb.

I think McFadden is the back to watch today. The Cowboys need that speed of his today

That would be C Mike.

I think after today's game we will see them get Michael ready.

And that is not a slur on the other RBs.

It's that all hands on deck at this point and they need everybody playing who can contribute.

I would expect Dunbar to be split out wide and even in the slot as will Escobar.

I see positives where others see issues.

Remember that we couldn't run on the Eagles at all last year. In the two games, Murray ran 51 times for 154 yards (3.0 per carry). In the first halves of those games (just checking to get rid of any effects from the blowout in the first game or preserving the lead in the second), he was 27 for 93 (3.4).

Those are facts. They'll do what they always do: Stack 8-9 in the box and blitz the crap outta Romo. Dunbar and Beasley will be KEY as blitz beaters. More 3 step drops and quick hitting routes. THEN go to the run. Yeah, we won't run early on them at all.

Agree. I'd like to see a real 50/50 split today. I wouldn't be upset with a 60/40 in McFadden's favor.

On which plays last week was Randle easily tackled? I only saw 1 play where I thought he should have broken the tackle for a bigger gain. On his other 15 carries I don't think Murray would have done any better.

Yeah I think DMC will hit a long gainer today. Maybe to the house.

There is a reason why DMC got more first team practice carries this week than last week.

Supposedly, DMC and Randle got equal time this week unlike last week where Randle got majority of first team carries.
