Judge denies the NFL's emergency motion for a stay of the Ezekiel Elliott preliminary injunction

The judge must be on Mara's payroll. Anyone who watched the game last night would see any opposing team owner would want the Ewok playing at all costs. If I was Mara, 8 yards and a quitter? Let him play, let him play!

Except he racked up 104 yards against Mara's team.
True dat, it's no secret I don't like him as a person but he showed a side last night that disgusted me as him as a player. Can't say I was surprised too much, the guy has been handed everything to him on a golden platter but last night pissed me off. Right when I thought I couldn't like him anymore...

I, for one, would like to see you post about something other than Zeke.
You could be a decent poster if you would let go of Zeke a bit for a hot minute and diversify your posts.

Not that you have any reason to listen to the Board's resident Goober...

Maybe Zeke will be happier now, he looked depressed yesterday

Yea, he just looks like he is just not having fun anymore. Where is that happy go lucky kid that jumped in the kettle pot?

Now he just sits on the bench by himself starring off into space, doesn't even bother to chase after the DB that just got a pick, its like he just doesn't give a F.

What I do is have a heart to heart conversation with Zeke and find out exactly where his head is. If all of this legal stuff going on is so distracting that Zeke cant concentrate on football than maybe he needs to sit some. I start rotating in Morris and McFadden and slowly work Zeke out of the lineup until he gets his head straight.

She won.

yawn

you have been completely wrong on the legal issues to date in this matter so now you turn the argument that it is better for him to play because he sucks

taking him out of the lineup is the last thing you do, the team has to show it supports Zeke to the last man and the last bullet

he had a brutal game yesterday, it happens

I honestly appreciate how you phrased that and I'll try to do better but I have explained myself before. I'm a pessimistic person by nature so I usually focus and borderline obsess with not only the more negative aspects of the Cowboys but life in general. I guess ranting makes me feel better, I dunno, but I've been that way my entire life.

It's also obvious and no secret that I don't like Zeke as a person, and last night is making me question how much I like him as a player. I tend to talk about him more than anyone else, maybe Jerry, because not only is he one (if not the best player on our team) but also the most controversial by a mile.

Again, I'll try to diversify, you make a good point but I have said plenty of positive things things that go unnoticed and the minute I say something realistic or negative I get jumped on. If you haven't noticed, I've given up on being positive. I've already been branded and accused of being a troll and am constantly attacked anytime I say something people don't agree with so it's fed into my pessimism and I've adopted it instead of getting po'd about it.

Thanks again for not being a jerk.

And what legal issues have I been wrong about other then saying I think the charges against him for DV are/were BS and I never thought he would be suspended?

Lol, I guess I'm a troll for saying that as well. I can't "win" which is fine, I stopped caring about 2 weeks ago.

No worries. I'm not saying to be positive. Be you, but you were seeming to just be driving down the same street over and over and, I admit, I don't follow you and read you in passing, but I definitely noticed this trend and you type too well to just harp on one thing. I think you have more to say about other subjects and I look forward to reading them.

Thanks man, I do have plenty to say (not all negative) and I'll try to be more aware of that.

Zeke needs to take his time. He isn't going to beat the suspension just postpone it. It's like a little kid dodging a spanking.

No, it just means he is more likely to play all year. If the stay was granted, Zeke would start his 6 weeks now.

Well until we find a better QB ,Zeke should just serve his 6 games now. I think we can get Dalton by then
