A judge has dismissed a lawsuit claiming sexual assault against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Collin County Judge Angela Tucker's ruling Wednesday comes on the heels of Dallas police announcing in May that they had found "insufficient evidence" to support a criminal case against Prescott and would not pursue charges.

The case stemmed from an alleged incident that occurred in 2017 in which a woman said Prescott assaulted her in the back of an SUV in a strip club parking lot.

Dak's countersuit for extortion against the woman and her lawyer remain active and are scheduled for a hearing on September. 13, 2024.
Good! I hope his case against her goes well.

Dak is keeping his foot on her neck. GOOD. Only speaking on this instance, this case, He has every right as an American citizen to pursue every legal means available to him to hold false accusers accountable. The law is supposed to work both ways, for either party. What she attempted taints real victims of sex crimes etc. She did a disservice to every woman or man, that has truly been sexually assaulted in some way.

The Dak Haters are finding a Narrative to discredit Judge Angela Tucker!!

How can they trust a Family, Criminal, juvenile and child protective 14yr attorney?

How can the trust a District Judges determination of the evidence?

Dak Hate HAS NEVER BEEN about football
It’s a shame that an attorney and this estranged woman would come up with this diabolical scheme to extort $100 million from Dak. I believe this lawyer assumed that. Dak was like Dashaun Watson and women would come out of the wood work to join in with the lawsuit. The state’s attorney needs to prosecute these fools immediately..

This case is a case study in extortion.

Other news entities have shown the Lawyers for Ms. Shore are also lawyering up for the Sanction Hearing in September.

Judge Angela determination BASED on Collin County Police Investigations and District Attorney's evidence.

I did skim a little too quickly what was posted here and did not notice the earlier date was in May. So, not all that recent.

Unfortunately, the article doesn't mention much at all about what the judge actually thought. No specific information on that at all really.
Well that is precisely what a judge does by the very definition whether in a court of law or even at a pie baking contest. What purpose would that serve anyway for a judge to share their inner most thoughts, beliefs or biases except to damage their credibility. If a judge is professional he or she has to make disciplined case by case decisions based on skill and experience within constraints of the law and their position. Not to state that judges are infallible or never flawed in their decision making.

Here is my question.
Dak is the face of the franchise, and was a millionaire even at that point, so why was he having sex in the back of a van
in a strip club parking lot ???? (wouldnt a motel or hotel be more comfortable ? lol )
That seems kinda sleezy for a millionaire QB of the cowboys.

Wonder if he met his new girl in the back of a van too?

Since we are making up stuff.... Why does Cooper Rush have teenage boy legs?

Why does Trey Lance Sleep with jug machines?

If you find sex in van in any of the Prescott case reports...let me know

Dak Prescott signed a four-year, $2.7 million contract as a rookie. The alleged incident happened in 2017. He netted less than a million in contract earnings at the time of what he was accused of doing, so he would not have been a millionaire at that point.

These situations with male sports figures won't stop until women are held accountable for their lies and deceit. The situation with Zeke shouldn't even have happened either, there was no evidence and evidence that the girl lied thru text yet he still got punished. There's lots of other stories of young athletes falling prey to women like this and destroying their lives. This happened recently with that punter or kicker I can't remember his name... from the Bills I think. Women should do time for this crap.
its both ways. have to take it case by case. there are male athletes who have been caught abusing women. let the legal process run through and determine based on the facts.
Now, Dak can counter sue.

Regardless how anyone feels about a given player everyone should feel better knowing these allegations were likely false and just manufactured to extort money from someone. Dak seems like a good dude off the field.

They usually issue an opinion, including the legal reasoning involved.

Article seemed fairly clear a criminal investigation determined there wasn’t evidence. Now a civil trial judge has come to the same conclusion. Even civil cases have rules of evidence. Civil liability trials don’t exist to act as a get rich quick scheme!
You never sue first, report it first, then the lawsuit...Her lawyer must've been a crack head...

It was never anything more than a lame brained extortion scheme. Just simple basic reasoning skills one would think it wouldn’t actually work. Makes one wonder how dumb some athletes are or are perceived.
Or yeah, it may have just been a couple crackheads… in retrospect it might be the most logical explanation!
