These situations with male sports figures won't stop until women are held accountable for their lies and deceit. The situation with Zeke shouldn't even have happened either, there was no evidence and evidence that the girl lied thru text yet he still got punished. There's lots of other stories of young athletes falling prey to women like this and destroying their lives. This happened recently with that punter or kicker I can't remember his name... from the Bills I think. Women should do time for this crap.

A judge has dismissed a lawsuit claiming sexual assault against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Collin County Judge Angela Tucker's ruling Wednesday comes on the heels of Dallas police announcing in May that they had found "insufficient evidence" to support a criminal case against Prescott and would not pursue charges.

The case stemmed from an alleged incident that occurred in 2017 in which a woman said Prescott assaulted her in the back of an SUV in a strip club parking lot.

Dak's countersuit for extortion against the woman and her lawyer remain active and are scheduled for a hearing on September. 13, 2024.
You sent this post out at 2pm. It only has two pages of responses  The hate is strong for Dak on this board. Can you imagine the posts if he was prosecuted for this bs.

That's right...but at that time Jerry was feuding with GODell over some control issues. Plus we just had a VERY dangerous season!

GODell's own female assistant assign to the case by him, told GODell to drop it.

And people still hammering him (zeke) for it...I'll be on the lookout for THEM here.

Meanwhile...at the moment, GODell obviously knows he doesn't have to do anything now, against Dak or Jerry...The Cowboys and Jerry are no threat.

From a strictly legal standpoint, what does insufficient evidence for a criminal case have to do with a lawsuit?
The evidentiary bar is not the same and is much lower for a lawsuit.

Unless the article was merely pointing out the timing, not necessarily that they were related.
Reads to me like they’re just establishing a timeline of events.

Let’s hope Dak and his family can put this garbage behind them.
Yep. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be accused of SA and have my name be discussed on a national stage in that capacity. Now that it’s done let’s get some healing in and move on. Sucks the whole thing happened. I’m also hoping Dak and family can move forward and heal.

close enough. lol. I am happy for Dak. Good dude as well.
If he's truly innocent of the charges then no one should be punished for a crime they didn't commit

That said, regardless of this particular situation, Dak's "character" cred is vastly overstated IMO

This "great leader, better man" mantra were constantly hearing about Dak has holes IMO

it felt like they were searching for a crime, without having one to begin with. No matter how we feel about a person, that's flat wrong and its lawfare. Abuse of the legal system. This was a game of chicken, to see if they could get Dak to pony up money purely by the accusation itself, without any proof of said crime. It failed. Sometimes, the legal system does work. It did in this instance.

Nice to see you so upset the charges were dismissed. And you have no business questioning someone’s leadership that you don’t even know.

The Dak Haters are finding a Narrative to discredit Judge Angela Tucker!!

How can they trust a Family, Criminal, juvenile and child protective 14yr attorney?

How can the trust a District Judges determination of the evidence?

Dak Hate HAS NEVER BEEN about football

It failed and it may cost her as Dak’s lawsuit is still active with a court date in Sept.
