Julius and Yards Per Touch (stats)

At his current pace, he'll be leading the league in rushing after the Giants game.

Where is Bryan Westbrook? He has over 6 yards per touch
When he's healthy enough to be in the game. He only had 16 touches against the Cowboys. He and Portis are both way up there in ypt, but I was only looking at the top 18 rushers in the league, and injuries have kept those guys out of the top 18.

Philly outplayed us. Simple. Lets see how they fare later in the year. Just look at their shedule. We win the East. Book it.

On the surface this is true, however if our run/pass ratio were to become lopsided on the run side then the defenses could focus on the run and we would be less effective there too. Plus, an overcommitment to the running game could result in a lot of 3rd and longs ......

if teams focus on stopping the run, then that means it's one less DB on our arsenal of receivers and attention

we need to run the ball more, and I wouldnt' be suprised if Bill is thinking the same thing

Running 75% of the time and moving downfield at a snails pace is aasking for trouble

I don't think anyone's asking for us to run the ball that much, as it is already, we aren't balanced as a team between the run/pass ratio
