He's a Dime a Dozen NFL RB...I think it's about time we all admit that...

He rarely ever breaks one off...he barely ever gets a gain of 20 plus...

You'd never see him pull off that Clinton Portis Run - or that Ladanian Tomlinson performance yesterday...

Truth be told JJ has to come out inside the 15 b/c he simply does not bust the hole hard enough....he also does not make people miss too often AND he goes down easily....the opposite of Pitbull Barber...

JJ is a useful player on a Team but not an ACE back ....

IMO - his time as the Top back in Dallas is jeopardy - Barber may overtake this season and or we may sign/draft a Top Flight RB next season in the draft or UFA....

Julius is pretty much a mirror of the team...mediocre.

Glad to see that there are other people that realize this....

Marion Barber the 3rd should be starting for this team and getting a bulk of the snaps.

I think its not fair to under estimate Jones talent ...He is not asked to carry the ball 30 times a game because MB3 is a factor and I like it that way...

I loved when Emmitt played but I also remember cringing whenever Emmitt went down and Now the way parcells has it going we have 2 more than capable backs that could if called upon carry the team...

I think the running game in Dallas could be great if the penalties didnt keep putting the team in 2nd and long all day long because that makes calling a run play diffcult to make...

Kinda hard to get those TD's when BP continually takes him out when he's close to the gaol line....Same with Barry Sanders....they always took him out as well.

What I am saying is that Julius dose not have a chance to prove that he can carry the ball 30 a game because the team has talent at RB behind him but if you remember in Julius rookie year before MB3 arrived Julius did carry the ball 30 plus times a game almost all the second half of the seasons games and did quite well I might add.

One game and you've blown your load kinda guy, huh? I'd take his steady 100+ yard games any day of the week. We did not draft him to be an ace we drafted him for production. IMO he's been doing that well.

We all know about great backs? We also know about great lines. I ain't making excuses, stating fact. Julius is doing very well, IMO, for what we've got blocking for him. The TE's are attrocious. The both of them.

Good point...he had 3 straight games of carrying over 30 times in a game...if THAT is his baseline for an "ACE" back, then he certainly is.

Your great backs are 99% of the time Workhorses....Tiki Barber was a scat 3rd down back early in his career BUT he turned himself into a horse...JJ needs to take a step in that direction...an I'm not saying JJ's a scat back b/c he doesn't have hands ...but 17 carries is not an Elite back and don't ya think we'd give him 30 carries if we knew he could handle it?
