Wow, seems as though most of the so called Cowboy fans need to grow some Kahunas!

I guess the Cowboys lack of killer instinct is duplicated by most of their fans, expecially on this board.

Pathetic.

Really? Are you really going to sit here and say that?

What your worried about is the perception of the team. You want them to score 40 points so the media and you can run around saying how great they are ...

It doesnt matter this year. THis team is different. Winning close games is better for this team than blowing people out. IF we keep the resolve this team has shown so far each week and not get too high or too low we will be alright.

If you watched playbook the last two weeks or nfl matchup you will see, austin and others have been open and romo has missed them or not thrown the ball on time. Not sure why, he maybe just in a funk. It happens.

EIther way, all this whining about gettting certain players balls, certain players disappearing etc.....its just talk. There are plays being left on the field, sooner or later romo and the offense are going to get that rhthym back.

The defense and the special teams are carrying this team right now. That is a good thing. We are building an identity as a tough physical team that wont break in the end.

In a twisted way I hope we play another close tough game today. I think it is better for the team in the long run.

and this notion that this team doesnt have killer instinct or is not tough or is lacking focus is not true. Its balogny because the team isnt meeting the unreal expectations of fans and media. And the kicker is most of the fans and media said we would be a lousy non playoff team....now all of a sudden we are supposed to blow everyone out.

What's really pathetic is a Cardinals fan spending Thanksgiving morning on a Cowboys board.

I can like both teams, I live here in Arizona, but born and raised in Big D. I went to my first Cowboy game when I was 2, in 1960, I am sure you were not even born then. Your " he's a Cardinal fan" rant is getting very old.

I love the Cowboys, but I also love the NFL and like other teams, you act like this is a crime. Go eat some Turkey and chill.

You're correct. You have every right to jump on whichever bandwagon you choose when either team is doing well.

That was hardly a rant, I'm chilled as can be, and I've never said that to you before. I've seen others say it because you were supposedly giving up your fanhood for some reason, TO or Wade or whatever it was.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.

I agree, mostly. I'll take any win, but if we win ugly, and this offense still doesn't show any signs of life, then I won't be happy.

I don't care so much about the score. Just as long as there are signs of us moving in the right direction and we have more points than they do at the end.

i'd like to see some signs of improvement also. i think we all would. my signs of improvement are incremental into where we need to go as a team.

there are a lot more *fans* out there who we must demolish everyone every week or we just suck and jones must go, wade must go, roy must go, jason must go....

they can predict an 8-8 season after a 2-2 start and swap out to a 9-2 run suddenly (from this 8-8 team they predicted way too soon) and then they get upset we're now working to 8-3.

some people are all over the map and think the last thing they saw is the only thing it can be. so i think you and i agree, some progress would be very nice

but i'll still take a win any way we can get it.

You also have every right to deny to yourself that you're a bandwagon fan.

I vote Bandwagon.

Especially if he threatened to turn in the fan card because of Wade or TO.

Today, on a short week, with guys dinged, including Romo, I'll take any type of win we can get...even 7-6 is okay.

Then we can use the longer break to work on the offense before the Giants game. I'll expect a little more offense and a better plan by that game.

That said, I think we'll need to score at least 17 to win the game today...Oakland will probably put some points on the board.

This is the NFL dude and it's all about the "W" however you can get it. Style points in this league means absolutely nothing. I bet the Steelers wish they had a 7-6 win over KC last week instead of the big fat L they got. Just gimmie the "W" any sunday...

If we only win by three points ,what will this say to you about the team.

Playoffs or done.

I'd say it was probably a disappointing effort but we're 8-3. Thats about all anyone can say.

Of course I remember that season. I didn't go to any one of their games that year because I live so far away.

However, I've never called myself a fan of any other team and I've never really cared to.

I live right near New Orleans. They are good this year, but I still say **** the Saints.

I'm a Cowboy fan and that's the only team I want to see win. 8-3 after today will be good enough, no matter how easy or hard it might be.

I'm trying to figure out a three things in this thread:

1. Why Cowboys fans need to grow some Hawaiian high priests (or gnarly surfers if you're into that sort of translation).

2. Why is it that the guy that simply needs a win is the one that needs to grow the aforementioned growths....rather than the guy that needs to be satisfied by proving a point to others in a vein display of strength.

3. Why a bandwagon fan of two teams is calling out some of the most religiously dedicated Cowboys fans in the world on the fandom.
