Guys who can only do one thing are going extinct. Even the Charger Harbaugh had a hybrid now as his starter.

Luepke’s usage and the Cowboys approach to Fullback is much more I like with these guys and the rest of the league. Honestly, I’m so annoyed with Ferguson that I’d rather see Luepke get a bunch of his snaps.

That's not a new idea you do kellen Moore did that all the time right I forget the backup guard that used to do that here but it's not new concept they just have to be willing to do it.. But how about we use a lead full back more with the eye formation and stuff they don't use the full back. How about we start with just being simply using a fullback more But I don't think the run game was a big problem this last game or why are we again now discussing the offense What was disgusting was the defense the time of possession was sucked dry in this game limited possessions you would have to score in every possession in order to stay in these type of games because you do have limited possessions limited time and you're allowing a lot a high score let's stop talking about the fullback and start talking about the defense more the special teams the short fields where are they They are not even getting back to the 30 why don't they just somehow kick the ball out of bounds or however the rules are now it just start at the 30...

So many problems with this team from game one I'm not worried about the full back or using a guard at fullback which is not a new concept it's been done here i'm pretty sure that Schottenheimer understands he could use that in a jumbo goal line short yardage package but I get why you would bring this up but it's unnecessary if we don't play defense and better special teams we are done we are over for the year we cannot do this again like last year and start acting like we should talk about the very little nitpicky things about our offense..

I forgot that Moore did that. I was just trying to think of a way to be more physical in our run game lol

Seriously. Cam Skattebo is a certifiable nutcase. He was doing idiotic somersaults while not committing stupid penalties. What the freaking heck was Javonte Williams' excuse???

This was the fifth penalty in his entire career. I don’t think it’s something to be concerned about

That is helpful information, but only one of the five lifetime penalties matter in my opinion. Personally, I would shake my head if Javonte Williams received a delay of game, false start and holding penalties at a crucial point in the game. Those are careless mistakes. It would be enough to grind my gears, but that's it.

Unsportsmanlike conduct, so flagrantly obvious that even the referees would have a hard time flubbing the call, late in a game that is still winnable, is 100% unforgivable in my book. Every single player and every single coach must be as close to flawless as professionally possible, in order to give the entire team the slightest opportunity to win these kinds of games--even if it is a sliver of a chance.

That said, I appreciate your posting his response. I will hold him to his self-acknowledgment--at least for the duration of his time in Dallas.

We are a passing team. All of our money is spent on throwing the ball. We just extended a WR and a TE.

How about our coaching staff game plan around that?

We need to throw first to set up the run. Not the other way around. Harbaugh has built his team as a run first.

You have to keep in mind Jeruh for decades has done the opposite. Game planning otherwise is dumb.

We should start every game like we are down 10 points.

I agree with some of that but this offense line with Williams should be dominant. He’s a stud running back that needs carries to wear down the defense and open up the pass. He’s a violent and tough runner.

Steel is a liability in pass protection but a grader in run blocking

Line up and smash. Set the tone. I feel like we haven’t done that since Murray was here maybe a little bit with Zeke in his first couple years.

I have no clue how Williams can be that stupid. I think that the officials got it wrong. They should called taunting on the 1 yardline with no touchdown. They should have marked it off from the 1 giving Dallas the ball on the 16.

Elijah Garcia (DT) and Marcellus Johnson (OT) are both over 300 lbs and are on our PS? What if we called one of them up and put them at FB? Nothing against Luepke, but them leading for Williams, Luepke, or Demercado (etc) might be a very dangerous run game. I think, especially, maybe we make Johnson a FB? Him plowing the way for our RBs would be very dangerous imo. I wonder if it'd be worth calling them up against the Commanders to see what happens?

Offense isn't the Cowboys problem and obviously you don't pay attention to the players we have on the team! Dak, CD, Pickens, Ferguson,Turpin, Flourney, etc... They have built this team to throw the ball but only having a total of 6 positions in any game is a losing proposition! Hire someone who can coach DEFENSE and most of the problems could be solved!
