You forgot so you're saying that me reminding you makes you feel how because I've been playing this game for a long time we lost because of the defense not because the lack of creativity or aggressiveness from Schottenheimer and our offense or our quarterback again it's about the defense you said I'm spamming no that was the right reply to every one of these posts some of these weird requests and ideas matter not when you've had some of the worst defenses on the planet just since 2016 and now we start out game one the same way and we're trying to find ways to nitpick the offense..
I get it but I'm as frustrated as the last person so I get more frustrated and triggered when I see people nitpicking the offense Yes the special teams need a little work as well but mostly it's all the defense.

Let me tell you why you're both right and wrong at the same time this league does not use full backs much at all they use hybrid HVAC they use their tight end They used Ricard does that look like a fullback no he is a guard acting like a fullback for certain plays but they're not using a full time fullback Full backs are a dying breed it's a position not being used much at all 'cause it's usually a waste of a position what they're not doing properly This is where you're correct,
Again, no argument about our defence. That's not the argument I'm making in this thread. All I was looking to do was improve all areas of the team. Should add that I just wrote a thread that has ideas I have for how to build our defence better. And what you said about us knocking out the ball is literally something I said in a different thread. I do think, in another game, if we keep attacking the ball, we will get more of those fumbles or interceptions to go our way. That alone should win us a few more games than last year. But, at the same time, I recall in 2014 how we built our offense to a way in which we could just focus on controlling the ball and keeping the ball away from our D as much as possible at the time. Our offense was dynamite then, and it allowed our D to be as rested as possible and not see the field as much. So, by using the FB position the way I was suggesting, it actually helps our D. Imagine if, like the Giants, we were able to only have our D on the field for 6 possessions in a game while dominating time of possession? Think our D would be more effective? Of course it would, and that helps our D develop better and become what we would hope they can be. We've done it before, and I'd argue we have a more dynamic offense than we did in 2014. If we can be better running the ball and controlling TOP, we probably help our D more.
Forget what the league is doing. Look what the Giants did to us. The Cowboys won 5 SBs as a run first team. 3 years ago most teams were going w the 2 back system then Saquan runs for 2k and now everyone back to the one back system.
I thought about that but not in this game you already had limited time of possession you couldn't limit your own time of possession by going slow you needed to actually go faster in a type of game like this it sucks putting all that pressure on your offense I have to score quickly that was the case time was running out You couldn't play small ball in that kind of game I disagree in that game it would have been a horrible game plan and it would have needed to change anyway II know he likes to run the ball a lot but at some point you have to open it up we're supposed to have one of the better offenses and passing games in the league Then you need to open it up in a game like this you have to score quickly it sucks it is that kind of pressure you you can't protect your defense as well but that is the only reason I agree with him not going for it on 4th and inches he was protecting his defense but at the same time the people were mad understands that they needed to score on every drive because they weren't gonna have very many drives but you didn't know that until after the game It was the proper call..
