http://cowboysblog.***BANNED-URL***...cher-takes-shot-at-tony-romo-on-twitter.html/

They're at it again. It never seems to amaze me. I hope Tony is laughing all the way to the bank. I hope he's in full swag mode this upcoming year. This is absolutely insane.
Former Washington Commanders linebacker London Fletcher retired after the 2013 season.
Since he will no longer face Tony Romo on the field, Fletcher couldn’t resist taking one more shot at the Dallas Cowboys quarterback Thursday morning on Twitter.
In honor of the opening day at The Masters, NFL AM tweeted a photo of Romo sizing up a shot while golfing with Tiger Woods. NFL AM was looking for captions for the picture, so Fletcher provided one.

I don't know how to copy the tweet.

I saw that but at least to their credit they ended the story with the fact that Romo owned him last year.

Yes Romo owned him. But then the season ended with no playoffs. I guess if some are satisfied with that, and can hang their hat on Romo's individual success, then go for it.

Personally, I have higher goals for this team.

This is just sad. It almost makes you think that some of these players that do this kind of thing honestly just do not like him on a personal level.

Season also ended without Romo, whom had a big comeback vs the skins despite being in major pain in the process of that comeback.

I think that is probably true. A personal dislike of him for whatever reason.

I'd probably do this sort of thing about Commanders players if I'd retired as a Cowboy, too. Tony will reply (if at all) with a crack of some sort about respecting the older players who built this league and everything will end up being ok, I'd think.

I have higher goals as well, but it always feels good to beat the DeadSkins.

I've always respected how London Fletcher played the game. This tweet doesn't change that at all. It was a bad joke that really doesn't deserve too much attention.

It has been that way since the beginning with Romo. Some people don't like his smirk, moxie, "it" factor, however you want to define it. They justify it in various ways, but it is really that simple. When they did a player survey about the most overated players in the league, Romo is always tops regardless of the season he is having. The same goes for some fan's perception of Dez. It's what he represents; has nothing to do with him (personally) or his contribution.

Skins didn't make the playoffs either and Fletcher is the one talking so... Anyway, the thread isn't about the playoffs.

What I don't get is that after the game, Fletcher went and found Romo and gave him a hug.

I mean, given the world of hurt Romo was in and the stakes of that game (win or season is over)...and then the epic 4th down, game-winning TD pass, you would think Fletcher would be cool.
Backstabbing dog.
