I had to laugh. 41 -0

But more impressive was the way N.E. used their TE's to dismantle that defense. The Skins had no answer for the two TE's. If the Skins blitzed, the TE would chip 'em and then just step out into a short pattern. Brady would justy lob it over the line to the TE. I hope Parcells watches that tape.

Even more intersting is the Skins didn't have a turnover. So it was a legit *** kickin. The color guy Riggins, was embarrassed. But then changed his tune and started making excuses. He said you won't see any of this when the season starts.

At the end of the game, the sponsor pulls out a "play of the game". The only play the Skins made was like a 12 yard screen. ha ha.

LeMar Marshall was just getting embarrassed by Ben Watson

No offense, but Bill doesn't have to watch any of freaking Mumbles tapes - Belichick got on the two te set bandwagon POST Tuna's decision.

A week or so ago in the local press BB was explaining why he was going with 2 te sets - gave the usual props to Gibbs for doing it years back - and explaining his FB injury siuation (I think Pass is hurt)? just added to his decision..he's got two good tes in Watson and Graham and there are enough young te bodies around to provide depth.

But he's copying what Tuna is doing, and said he was doing going back to early post-season, not vice versa. :)

And of course, it remains Gibbs who deserves the orignal kudos.

Gee Thats funny, I was told by many on this board that Ben Watson sucks and was barely average.

Adamjt even pulled the stats out and said he is barely average.

HMM? Anyone care to take those statements back and realize watson is a tremednous player. His ypc are scary and he can do it all.

Watson needs to do it over a 16 game season, but he is talented. Adam Archuleta is still trying to catch him.

The funny part of that game is how with them losing so bad the announcers looked at the skins regular season schedule and said they would easy go 4-1 in the first 5 games.

Riggins is a total homer, I had fun listening to him during that game. He does like to promote his radio show every five minutes though.

i do recall, years ago, the 'skins going to a two TE set they called "heavy jumbo". but i sure don't remember it as being routinely used by them. mostly for short-yardage and redzone situations.

that's a pretty fair leap from parcells' intention to make it the base formation.

belichick sure can hold a grudge.

I couldn't believe the skins announcers! Did you hear these gems:

--Al Saunders is such a genius that he's deliberately having his team lose the game to lull opponents into a false sense of security. (I'm still trying to wrap my brains around that one--must have come straight from ES.)

--The Patriots victory is a "hollow victory." (?!?!?!?!)

--"I'm looking at their early schedule & I easily see them going 4-1." (The only game he thought they might lose was against the Giants. Totally dismissed the Cowboys.)

Not sure who it was, but didn't one of them actually guarantee the W over the Cowboys. I might have mis-heard, but I know that comment stood out. Cuz the guy asked him if he was guaranteeing a win, and the other guy said "yeah he was"

It's typical. If you go over to ES, they have no respect for our team at all. Most think we'll wind up last in the NFCEast.

I remember a thread where they ranked all positions in the NFCE. We were last in nearly every last category....not TE...I think we were third there.

According to them, our QBs, RBs, OL, DL, and Secondary are dead last in the NFC East. They ream on our lack of talent in the secondary.

So, the fact that their announcers dismiss us isn't surprising.

I don't know their names, but there were two of them talking. The first one was adament that they'd easily go 4-1. The second one was a bit more rational. He was actually having the nerve to claim the skins weren't having a good game (apparently not realizing that it's actually part of Saunders' brilliant plan to fool us all), so he said they might not do so well in regular season. It was the other one making all those ridiculous comments.

Actually, I think they were guaranteeing the game vs the Texans.

Mike Patrick said they could play that game in his backyard and win. Whatever that means.

Their announcers are mike patrick and John riggins.

Mike patrick worked sunday night football for the last 15 years on espn with theisman the other homer.

Mike patricks guarantee that they will beat houston was very classless, announcers arent in the guarantee business. He should have just stuck to the tail whipping archuletta, marshall, washington and wright were getting from brady and watson.

I am still amazed that the writer in the washington times could be as disrespectful as he was last week with his article talking about the cowboys and the way he referred to Drew bledsoe. There is no reason any writer should be able to talk about a player like that, it was like schoolyard stuff in a national paper. Very classless.

Karma has a way of kicking big mouths in the behind. Hopefully our team will work hard every day from here out and continue to get better so these classless individuals will have nothing to say.

Ok cool. I wasn't sure who that guarantee was against.

And yeah that was a tacky statement. I just don't think the Texans are going to be as bad as last year. Their D let them down alot in the final mins of games last year. I predict they can be a somewhat decent .500 team...stealing some games along the way.

Don't be fooled by how good the Cowboys are playing. Parcells is a genious at showing how bad the Cowboys really are, and he's just winning preseason games to try and scare the other NFL teams into believing that the Cowboys are good.

Parcells is intentionally showing all of his playbook during these meaningless games because he knows once the season starts, he will reveal the REAL TEAM, the bad team...

The whole NFL will be surprised how bad the Boyz really are...that is the genious of Parcells and his awesome assistant coaches.

Since a few people are bashing Extremeskins, I thought I'd join in.

I watched last nights game, and as much as I hate ES, I wanted to go over there and read all the sky is fallign threads.

What I found instead was so much funnier.

First, if a Commanders fan starts a thread criticizing the team, the mods/admin will then merge that thread with all the other ones criticizing the team, and edit the thread title to insult the posters, or talk down on them. One thread title that I remember was something like "Please hold me, I'm scured. At least Spurrier won in the preseason."

Next....there were several threads pointing out how Al Saunders had a losing preseason the past few years (yeah, ignore him not being the head coach), and then the routine "Well everytime Gibbs won the SB we were 0-4 in the preseason" mantra.

And finally...there was two of the most delusional topics I have ever seen:

(1) Gibbs is doing this on purpose to trick the league

and

(2) Al Saunders isn't "showing us" anything.

Honestly . . . it is good stuff.

I mean . . . any football fan with an ounce of common sense, let alone objectivity, would just laugh at what is said there.

But the masses are either too stupid, or they are so blinded by their homeristic views that it is sad.

Anyway . . . I'm going to enjoy going to Extremeskins this season and laughing at them.

They have it set in their heads that they are virtually guaranteed a Super Bowl trophy this year.

Reality check should have started already . . . but I'm sure it will in two weeks.

I would not be suprised if they lose to Minnesota in the season opener.

You just make sure you take a damn good hot shower and get cleaned back up before you come back to this forum!

Anytime someone goes to that stinkhole, they need to get cleaned up!
