Just caught the Skins on NFL network

I think Art may have some serious physological hangups. :laugh2:

No...little Art is just fine. His problem is that he has wee-wee envy! That's why his sheep have the same problem! ;)

It's a Jim Jones, Jonestown thing...sad to say the least!

However, I'm sure most RedStink fans are great and wonderful people, in their own right...but, when you are blinded by the truth, that's where it gets bad...

It must suck to be a RedStink fan...

This didn't come from ES, but it's a hilarious excuse nonetheless...

Carter hasn't played DE in basicly two years. He was most likely instructed to bull rush "only" and not give any tape on his moves that he uses in camp.

This was given as the reason why Carter hasn't played well in the preseason.

:lmao2: hilarity, can it be that he hasn't gotten over 6 1/2 sacks in 3 years?

Well, that sounds about right. At least to me it does. Think about it? Is St. Gibbs going to use up tapes on players when he needs those tapes to send to the NFL...moaning and groaning about the refs?(and anything else)

Makes no sense to me...! But...consider the source...sounds logical too me.

They have it set in their heads that they are virtually guaranteed a Super Bowl trophy this year.

This is a complete outright lie, but I'm sure you knew that before typed all of that drivel.

They sure looked horrible.

Could not happen to a more deserving team.

Being stuck in H-town, I would agree. They seem to have the right offensive system in place for Carr and he and the back up have played very well.

I think the Texans might actually make teams have to show up on Sundays.

Carr and Houston's offense still look horrible

its getting pretty close to time to put the "bust" label on Mr.Carr...and I for one am glad, he is a total punk

Damn after that first pass he threw against us in 2002, I thought for sure he was going to the Hall. How sad is it that his best game ever was his first and that it was against us?

How is he a punk? Haven't heard a thing about him doing anything knuckleheadish...

As far as the bust label, I don't know... Think I'll let this year play out first.

BTW, I don't think Houston's offense looks that bad. I just think Denver is definitely the more talented team... And for a first year coach, Kubiak has them on the right track. Much farther along than some other first year coaches.

Yeah this theory would work great.... FOR ONE GAME!! Or are they hiding all his moves for the Cowboy game?

I guess these are ALL NEW moves too, and there is no film on him from his whole career of doing these moves... Probably just the infinite wisdom of Gibbs, "if they don't see it in the preseason it will be like a sneak attack hahahahaha..."

After reading this thread, I went over there to check out a few threads and had to close the window after I saw one of their users compare Mark Brunell to Joe Montana.

Gee Thats funny, I was told by many on this board that Ben Watson sucks and was barely average.

Adamjt even pulled the stats out and said he is barely average.

EXCUSE YOU, but I never said that. All I said I wouldn't call him a "terrific" player yet because he hasn't done enoough.

obviously you never pay attention to what he says, because if you listen to him in some interviews he come off as a punk...and this is since the day he was drafted

as for the bust thing and what kind of team Houston has, we'll see...but Carr has been mediocre for several seasons now, he takes alot o sacks and the OL gets criticized alot, but he is the reason for alot of those sacks because he is so poor at reading defenses...I bet Houston is lucky to win 4 or 5 games this yr

i do recall, years ago, the 'skins going to a two TE set they called "heavy jumbo". but i sure don't remember it as being routinely used by them. mostly for short-yardage and redzone situations.

that's a pretty fair leap from parcells' intention to make it the base formation.

belichick sure can hold a grudge.

Gibbs' 2 TE set isn't much like what Dallas or the Pats are running. Gibbs 2 TE set revolved more around a solid pass receiving TE that was good at finding holes to set down in and the other TE being a very good blocker.

Dallas and NE hope to use a 2 TE set where both TE's are solid if not excellent receiving threats and both that can block.

Ok, one guy predicted superbowl, 2 guys agreed, and the rest merely hoped the team could make it that far. How is that "virtually guaranteeing" a Superbowl? And this is the best you could come up with? I could find a more homeristic thread on this forum than that one.

Thanks for proving my point.

hit yer link and was subjected to one of the most melodramatic thread-starters i've ever witnessed. hooo boy!

yep... you guys are worried. and rightly so.
