Kirk Ferentz!!! He took a horrible program from the bottom to the top and should be available in a few years...though I'm a Hawkeye fan and wouldn't mind seeing him remain there. He's young and an exceptional candidate.

I am going to have my eye on Charlie Weiss at Notre Dame. I really respect him as an offensive coordinator, and I think if he is successful as a head coach in college, he will be the next big name. I would love to see him come to Big D and design an offense around a young quarterback.

Great thinking. Also he worked in NE so he's used to a 3-4 as the defense. We drafted and signed players that should be around for a while still, and after BP does go, in the next 3 years probably..we might as well stay with what's been built

Good call on Kirk Ferenz. I think he ends up at Penn State though when they embalm Jo Pa. Mack Brown could go to the NFL then Texas might actually have a chance of winning the Big 12 and beating Oklahoma.

Ferentz is going to stay at Iowa until he retires. He's had plenty of good oppurtunities to leave already and he hasn't. He likes the midwest life style and he's a GOD in Iowa City. The man is staying there. Consider me an inside source!
