I don't think they will get arrogant. I'm sure they saw what that Jets defense was capable of against the Bills. Beating an overhyped and mediocre Giants' team is no reason to get arrogant. The Giants are now 3-7-1 in their last 11 games. They were coming down to earth at the end of last year and got lucky by drawing another team (Vikings) that was overhyped going into the playoffs. The Giants were exposed when Philly had them down 28-0 at halftime in the playoffs and finished them off 38-7.

One of the biggest enemies for the Cowboys over the past three decades has been complacency. We’ve had a few really good teams since our last Super Bowl win fade down the stretch because the team has struggled to handle success. This is why we haven’t been able to go deep in the playoffs. If you’re not playing your best football entering the playoffs you’re not going to go far. The Cowboys have had a tendency to peak early and begin to sputter later in the season. This is why I don’t get carried away over blowout wins like we had last Sunday. We had a couple of huge blowout’s last season, but we didn’t get far in the playoffs.

Classic trap game and one problem I’ve noticed with Cowboys teams since 2000 is they believe in their own hype because they are on the star. Can’t get arrogant and expect to run over the Jets here. This should be a team this Cowboys team beats handily. A loss here and it will be chalked up to attitude and lack of discipline. Destroy the Jets and show the nfl who the super contenders are!

Fans may become arrogant but I doubt the players do. They know it's any given Sunday.

I’ll be honest I agree with original poster. This is a game in the past we’d play down to our competition or even lose.

The jets have a great defense…. Good running backs. Yes their oline isn’t great but if they can run the ball…. Control the clock and Wilson can avoid turnovers they can win.

Especially if dak throws a pick or two. They are still a good team

Talking the talk while walking the walk during regular season wins does not appeal to me as it does others here.

I read somewhere here where respect is earned in the playoffs. That's what I'm about.

I'm cool with a little swagger after raising a Lombardi overhead though.
