Seriously, we all know there's no chance in hell to win a SB without Romo, period.

That's not debatable..

Why not replicate 2014, with all the associated benefits (besides Murray Fumbling in GB while running through a lane wide enough for a semi), rather than taking it to the house like Zeke would...

Zeke is an automatic upgrade in every facet of the rub game and for the entire team.

First, he'd protect Romo better than anyone else, which as was stated, without Romo there will be no SB.

Second, Zeke plus our current line is about 50 times better than what we had in 2014.

3rd, Bosa, Ramsey, and Tunsil might be great, but in no way could they push us over the top like Zeke very well might....

---

Take Zeke, then trade up for Shaq or Spence, then grab an actual CB in the third...

How awesome would it be to see Zeke leading the league in rushing, while we watch a ridiculous running attack that might never be replicated again...

It's Emmitt 2.0.

How'd we do without Emmitt?

Yippee! Another Zeke thread that references 2014 and when Emmitt was here! I never thought of it like that!

Also how in the world are they going to trade up to get Lawson and then still have a 3rd round pick to take a CB? LOL. If they move up from the high 2nd round into the first, that third is probably part of the price.

I fully agree, although I think we're wearing out the forum with Zeke threads. (I'm culprit #1)

An elite back with fresh tires at a relatively reduced rate behind a top offensive line in Romo's waning days.

It's pretty clear-cut to me.

No way. It doesn't take a third to do that unless you want to trade up below pick 20.

Relatively reduced rate?

What? Elliott becomes the 8-9th highest paid TB the moment he's drafted at 4.

Go back and look at the 2014 defensive stats thanks to our ground game that year...

Now with four pro-bowlers coming into their own on this line, no team would want ANYTHING to do with us, especially in December...

...

Or we could watch Ramsey fail to make picks and get burned as a CB when he's chasing WR's and not reacting with his back to the ball...

Bosa would be fine by me, but I really think drafting Ramsey will be an epic fail. ****, Aaron Glenn would probably play better than Ramsey would as a rook CB this year...

An elite back with no wear and tear for less money than what an old beaten-up Demarco Murray is making? That's a steal.

And Elliott is INFINITELY more talented than Murray.

You are probably right. I just looked at some historical trades and in 2015, the Broncos traded two fifths to go from 28 to 23.

Ummm, he'd essentially be making nearly DOUBLE what Murray would have made.

Murray only had $12MM guaranteed on his deal. Elliott gets $25MM guaranteed the moment he's drafted.

So what, if the team is better, which they will be. Why are you concerned about the money a player gets, if that players puts points on the board. And W's in the W column.

I am just question erod when he said Elliott comes at a reduced rate. He doesn't.

The team might also be better if they take Ramsey. You just don't know.

I know some of you don't want to hear this but Elliott isn't a stone cold, 150%, guaranteed, book it now, place that $1,000,000 Vegas bet to be a stud.

If we draft Elliot I'm going Michael Jordan over Ehlo excited !

If they pass on Elliot and select Ramsey, I might be done as a fan of this team.

I don't care if Zeke becomes a bust and Ramsey becomes a first ballot HOF... Draft Zeke

I would rather have the guy from Oregon or Bosa before I'd take Ramsey.#nocornerthathigh

You could be right, too.

It depends on how many are at the dance. If five teams want to get to #4, Dallas could get a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and next year's 2nd and 4th. But if only one team is that interested, you'll be lucky to get a 2nd and 4th.

Supply and demand.

I just don't see that many teams clamoring to get up to take a guy, and because Dallas' pick is early 2nd, it shouldn't take that much unless somebody else is at the end of Round 1 and wants to go get the same pick.

let's see, so Murray got $2 million per fumble.....Elliott gets $25 million for not fumbling 6 times...but could result in 6 TDs.....yeah, give me Elliott for $25 mil....
