I understand how one can come to that co conclusion based on how things have gone… but if Dak won Dallas a record tying 6th SB, that would instantly catapult him over Danny White and Tony Romo.
15 interceptions and a great playoff run is a very different season than 15 interceptions and the same result you’ve had many years previously. Doesn’t mean he didn’t throw them, but it would be perceived differently. He would be lauded, even if he doesn’t win a ring, just getting there would be a really big deal.

The narrative changes, depending who it is. Stats matter when it’s Dan Marino. Rings matter when it’s Eli Manning.

Right, you prop up a player on the pedestal of his strongest accolades. Up until this year, Dak’s strongest accolade was his efficiency. He used to never turn the ball over.

well, I guess I have to own up to. I wear the same underwear all season and not wash it. I was forced to wash it weekly this year, which led to this. I apologize and promise not to wash mine this coming season

His football intelligence can be seen, if I remember correctly the play,
when he literally trying running through a defender while in the end zone on what should have been an easy safety instead of throwing the ball away. He just got lucky like the almost pick 6 here that the defender didn’t make the play.
