I don't expect an answer to this question !!!!!!About half are Daks fault. But he threw them so he gets the wrap. Whose fault was his TDs. Or the wins. 2 loses our Defense blew big leads. We will see this year if Moores playcalling had anything to do with it. MM is gonna go with a 2016 short pass game with a better WR corps. We gonna see.
I'll call this post , Spotlight on hypocrisy.Future HOF candidate and holder of 2 SB rings, Eli Manning, once threw 27 INTs in a season, and FAR less was made of that! Just sayin’!
Do you really want to compare the two QBs?Future HOF candidate and holder of 2 SB rings, Eli Manning, once threw 27 INTs in a season, and FAR less was made of that! Just sayin’!
So here are all 15 of Dak's regular season picks. I tried to be as judicious as possible with whos fault they were. I used the following angles of fault:
1. Dak=Daks fault, terrible pass or decision
2. M=Miscommunication with the WR running wrong route or going behind back instead of rounding in front of the DB
3. WR=Wr's fault. Ball bounced off his hands and into the DB
4. Def=Defense simply made an incredible play or got a lucky tip for a pick
Picks
1. Dak
2. M
3. Dak
4. M/WR
5. Dak
6. Def
7. M Lamb fell down great play by Gilmore to step in front
8. Def
9. Dak
10. Dak
11. WR
12. Dak Sweat made a great play, but Ill give this one to Dak
13. WR
14. Dak
15. Dak
Some of these were easy to see it was Dak or the WR. Some were more difficult. Definitely 2 that were Lambs fault going behind the DB
So the finally tally is:
Dak=8
M/WR=5
Def=2
Not sure what this proves or disproves just interesting to see the results.
Set that bar low!I'll call this post , Spotlight on hypocrisy.
Excellent point dude !!!!!
You beat me to it mate!Do you really want to compare the two QBs?
OK.
Overall Dak I do believe has the edge in career statistics as regards most important areas like TDs, completion percentage, QB rating.
Now Eli has two rings (one due to one of the most unbelievable plays in NFL history) and to be blunt the likelihood of Dak ever getting one is pretty slim...
Probably about as slim as Eli Mannings chances of making it to the HOF (A qb that never came close to MVP, leading the league in passing, ALL PRO, etc)
Bringing up Eli was my whole point. Some call him a HOFer because he has rings. He threw 27 INT’s one year, but “no biggie”, because he’s not a Cowboy!Set that bar low!
Eli manning? luckiest QB ever. 3 WR's that chased down his errant throws. two brutal RBs. Great defense. Good coach.
So when eli wins super bowls it's all him. WHen we lose it's a "team game you yahoos".
Add in 5 more regular season games...coupel SB's....give eli a run for his money on that one.
"excellent point".... GOOD ONE!
If Dak Prescott had 8 career playoff wins and was a SB champion, people would treat him very differently. Did you know Ben Roethlisberger also led the league in interceptions multiple times? Surprise! No one brings it up, because they’re champions.Bringing up Eli was my whole point. Some call him a HOFer because he has rings. All we hear is 2022, 15 INTs, lead the league. Dallas QBs are simply talked about more.If Dak Prescott had 8 career playoff wins and was a SB champion, people would treat him very differently. It’s a different standard, not a double standard.
That’s true, but Eli didn’t exactly play in Ohio either. In 2007 Eli led the league in interceptions before he proceeded to win 4 straight playoff games. Of course Dak would have gotten a pass had he done that. All we hear is 2022, 15 INTs, lead the league. Dallas QBs are simply talked about more.
But Cooper disappeared on the road. I read it right here at the Zone, so he couldn't have helped, according to some. His receivers sucked and it cost us a chance against SF Cooper could of made the difference.
The narrative changes, depending who it is. Stats matter when it’s Dan Marino.
