I think it is more because of Aaron Donald.Yet he has a Superbowl because of free agency ........ which is what this thread is trying to downplay.

They could.Facts. They will go on to win 11 or 12 games still
Shocking how so many fans like this one, doesn’t understand that the season doesn’t start until September. Lots of time to plug holes. But I get it, it’s easier to give up and be negative all the time. Sure the Cowboys haven’t gotten very far but they’ve won 37 games in the last 3 years so they’re doing something right. Now if they can fix the culture issue with the players they’ll have a chance to go much further. But hey, you do you. Quit. They have cap space. They could easily create enough cap space to sign some decent mid-level FAs.
They choose not to, instead following the plan that has failed for like 6-7 seasons in a row now. And then count on fans like you to give them a pass every offseason.
Yea because coming here and crying will make Jerry do what you want him to do.They have cap space. They could easily create enough cap space to sign some decent mid-level FAs.

Since every team had to get under the cap, and has, the reason to cut a player now is based on ability not finances. Is the Cowboys’ mission statement “send your tired, wretched refuse to our teeming roster”?They got 2 last year and Lance. They can also sign any player that is cut.
0 in the CC game late in the 4th...How many gimme picks has Dak thrown that were dropped ....... difference is that Stafford makes mistakes, but does not look like a deer in the headlights.
The Charger cuts were not about ability.Since every team had to get under the cap, and has, the reason to cut a player now is based on ability not finances. Is the Cowboys’ mission statement “send your tired, wretched refuse to our teeming roster”?
Then why did they only win on the year that they (unlike Jerry) really went all in? Why not the other 10 years?I think it is more because of Aaron Donald.
Translation please0 in the CC game late in the 4th...
lol ....Stephen is that you? I mean they were all in a couple months ago..what changed..while your answering the question can you throw in the reasons they tanked FA in 2006,2007,2008,2010,2011,,,,,,Dallas has no money so they are obviously gonna tank.
They got luckyThen why did they only win on the year that they (unlike Jerry) really went all in? Why not the other 10 years?
They aren't tanking.Dallas has no money so they are obviously gonna tank.
Wow ......... those Jerry blinders are a wonder to behold. They got lucky
they bought a trophy and are paying it off now which is why they are not competing yet. They got lucky
Yes. They were financial. The Charger cuts were not about ability.
All teams that win get lucky. 20 games is a gauntlet.Wow ......... those Jerry blinders are a wonder to behold.
Ok Stephen.Everyone gets so fired up when the Cowboys don't make many moves but ya gotta admit who is a must sign for any team plus the Cowboys rely on their draft to get better and not some over the hill veteran who's looking for one more big pay day. Remember when the Cowboys signed Makenzie Bernardo and Nate Livings in 2012 boy did they suck! How about Brandon Carr ya pretty much a non factor and whatabout the D tackle from Buffalo Martellus Wiley yup another suckage! Now don't get me wrong the Cowboys have brought in a couple of good ones like Deion Sanders, Anthony Henry, and L'roy Clover but that's when they had cap space unlike today.
