They have cap space. They could easily create enough cap space to sign some decent mid-level FAs.

They choose not to, instead following the plan that has failed for like 6-7 seasons in a row now. And then count on fans like you to give them a pass every offseason.
Shocking how so many fans like this one, doesn’t understand that the season doesn’t start until September. Lots of time to plug holes. But I get it, it’s easier to give up and be negative all the time. Sure the Cowboys haven’t gotten very far but they’ve won 37 games in the last 3 years so they’re doing something right. Now if they can fix the culture issue with the players they’ll have a chance to go much further. But hey, you do you. Quit.

Yea because coming here and crying will make Jerry do what you want him to do.
Let me guess you are going to stop watching, stop buying his merch, pitch in for a billboard, call in to the radio stations....
It won't change anything and you know it. This isn't Dallas's team. Its not our team. It's Jerry's team and he will do what he wants and he has billions of dollars telling him he has that right.

Let's stop acting like fans not being as angry as you will really change anything.

I don't think they should bring in a bunch of high-priced FAs but it would be nice if they at least tried to address some of the holes in this roster.

The entire world knew DT, LB, and RB were going to be an issue heading into last season and they did next to nothing to address any of those holes.

They got 2 last year and Lance. They can also sign any player that is cut.
Since every team had to get under the cap, and has, the reason to cut a player now is based on ability not finances. Is the Cowboys’ mission statement “send your tired, wretched refuse to our teeming roster”?

How many gimme picks has Dak thrown that were dropped ....... difference is that Stafford makes mistakes, but does not look like a deer in the headlights.

The Charger cuts were not about ability.

Everyone gets so fired up when the Cowboys don't make many moves but ya gotta admit who is a must sign for any team plus the Cowboys rely on their draft to get better and not some over the hill veteran who's looking for one more big pay day. Remember when the Cowboys signed Makenzie Bernardo and Nate Livings in 2012 boy did they suck! How about Brandon Carr ya pretty much a non factor and whatabout the D tackle from Buffalo Martellus Wiley yup another suckage! Now don't get me wrong the Cowboys have brought in a couple of good ones like Deion Sanders, Anthony Henry, and L'roy Clover but that's when they had cap space unlike today.
Ok Stephen.

The vast majority of teams that win Super Bowls do it because they dipped into FA. The draft is nice to get those young talented players on cheap contracts for 3-5 years. Free agency has SOME semblance of known commodities. Free agency isn't as much of a gamble as the draft is. An owner not up his own butt would see the value in both of these things.

It has become pretty clear at this point that Stephen thinks he is outsmarting the rest of the owners despite having nothing to show for it. It's like he saw all the mistakes his father made after the cap became a thing and went to the other side of the extreme.
