Just heard on 105.3 The Fan, Brian Waters is playing Sunday

sounds like romo, dunbar, spencer and mcray are all at practice in pads today.

Romo, Bryant, Claiborne, Spencer practicing. First time for Spencer since July 25 knee surgery

This is the best news of the day.

Our D will look alot better with Spencer out there, with the ability to rotate others off the bench.

Great news.

be fun to see this week spencer/rayford rushing the passer.

the chiefs media and fans seem to be awfully cocky about how bad they are going to beat us. Im kind of surprised to be honest.

I'm not, because of Romo hate, most people think we are an awful football team.

Go to your local barbershop and bring up the Cowboys outside of Texas and see what happens.....people laugh at us on an everyday basis, its up to the team to change the perception.

what do you mean OUTSIDE of texas.

In texas just turn on a radio, open a paper and it is bigger here than anywhere.

Heck, bring it up in Texas and even to Cowboy fans themselves. I'd say that 80% of the time, their first words are "oh, we need to get rid of Romo". I usually snicker and walk away because I don't want to get irritated and get into a long argument.

Yeah lol, well I don't know how many times I hear......'as long as ya'll have Romo'....its almost like it doesn't matter what we do in the regular season at all and noone else on the team matters whatsoever.

We have an uphill battle as far as perception, and most teams will think they can beat our brains out for some reason.

No need rushing Waters into playing and getting him injured. Maybe play him a series or 2. Let him work his way back. 18 months is a looooonnnggggg time.

Yeah I have some old friends who are Cowboy fans, and its almost like I have to do a Jerry sale job to get them to even listen to me.

I usually just laugh it off and change the subject.

Just ask cowboy fans you meet 4 questions:

1. Do you think we need to get rid of Romo?
2. What is a zone blitz?
3. What is the difference between a 34 OLB and a 43 OLB?
4. What is an option route for a WR?

It never fails... the fans who think we need to get rid of Romo never can really answer the other 3 questions. The fans who want to keep Romo actually have an understanding of football.

or they have just such a mindless hate for romo that it clouds everything else

Can't wait to see this offensive line with Smith, Waters, Fred, Leary and Free.

Good news, especially for Spencer. I'm surprised about Claiborne, though. I heard he separated his shoulder against the Giants, so I kind of expected that he might not play.

It was a slight separation according to Claiborne. He didn't think he damaged anything.

I live in Atlanta and it's ridiculous. From Falcons fans who name their first round QB Matty "Ice" even though he has an even worse playoff record than Romo with a better team around him and keeps choking away games near the goal line.

This spring I even got Romo smack talk from a Vikings fan. I said "you have Christian Ponder!"
